The Amazing Race November 11, 2020 Eliminated Michelle & Victoria Newland (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans.Tonight, November 11, 2020, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 32 did indeed air, and another unlucky team did get eliminated at the end.
Tonight’s episode kicked off with the teams learning they had to fly to the city of love Paris, France to get this leg of the race started. Once they arrived in Paris, the teams had to drive stick shift cars to the Domaine de Chantilly to get their first clue.
Will & James had a tough time with this because Will couldn’t drive stick very well. They got stuck until Will figured out he was starting the car in third gear instead of first gear. Once he figured that out, they were, not surprisingly, good to go.
Kaylynn and Haley also had trouble driving stick. Plus,they got lost, which wasted a tremendous amount of time at this point in the race.
Once the teams got to the Domaine de Chantilly, they were given a Road Block challenge called, “Who has an eye for art?” During this challenge, one team member entered a room that was filled with many different paintings, which featured many different characters. They also entered a room filled with many people dressed up as characters in the paintings.
The team member had to correctly match up one of the people they saw with one of the characters in the paintings to get their next clue.
Aparna & Eswar ran into issues with this Road Block challenge because Aparna wasted lots of time trying to find a correct match. She must of dragged 12 or 14 people through there before she got the right match, but she eventually got one right before she caused them to waste their entire life away.
After the art road block, the teams had to make filling and fill up four pies to get their next clue. They also got pies thrown at them while trying to take the pies to their proper location. So, things got messy there.
After all of that, the teams had to drive to the Musée des Artes Forains art museum. Once they got there, they had to complete another Road Block challenge. In this challenge, they had to win 3 different carnival games to get their next clue.
Poor Michelle & Victoria got really lost trying to find the museum, which gave Kaylynn and Haley an opening to get back in the race.
At this point, they showed footage of Kaylynn & Haley running into their special Speed Bump challenge for finishing last in the last leg. They had to correctly clean a horse saddle to continue on in the race.
Meanwhile, the rest of the teams learned they needed to head to the Pont des Arts, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race. Riley & Maddison showed up in first place and won a trip for two to Vietnam.
Chee & Hung finished second. Leo & Alana took 3rd place. Will & James came in 4th place. Gary & DeAngelo came in 5th place. Aparna & Eswar arrived in 6th place. Kaylynn & Haley managed to get the very valuable 7th place spot due to poor Michelle & Victoria’s misfortune.
Michelle and Victoria showed up last because they wasted an enormous amount of time trying to find the museum. Host Phil Keoghan confirmed that they were indeed eliminated because of it.
