MacGyver Season 5, January 29, 2021 Episode 7 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “MacGyver” fans. We are back on here for unfortunate reasons today. It turns out that we need to inform you that CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 7 of MacGyver’s current season 5 tonight, January 29, 2021.
The good news is that this particular delay will just be for this week only. CBS has informed us that the new episode 7 is currently scheduled to hit the airwaves next Friday night, February 5, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to memorize that very important date and time.
So, what could CBS possible be airing instead of the next, new episode 7 of MacGyver’s current season 5 tonight? Well, according to the TV guide listings, CBS has decided to air a repeat episode of MacGyver.
This particular repeat episode will be the 4th episode of last season 4 titled, “Windmill + Acetone + Celluloid + Firing Pin”
CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “As MacGyver works quickly to rescue survivors from a collapsed building in Germany, he discovers a new safety threat, which is a 1,000-pound undetonated bomb from World War II hidden beneath the rubble on a rebroadcast of MACGYVER.”
If you guys are up for watching this particular rerun of MacGyver, you may still want to watch CBS tonight during that time like you normally would. On the other hand, if you know you absolutely don’t want to watch this repeat episode, you will certainly want to make some other plans as quick as you can.
With that said, we do have new details for the next,new episode 7 of MacGyver’s current season 5 via CBS’ official episode 7 press release. We’re going to go over it real quick.

With that said, let’s talk about episode 7. For starters, it’s officially titled, “Golden Lancehead + Venom + Pole Vault + Blood + Baggage.”
It sounds like episode 7 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic, action-filled and possible suspenseful scenes.
In the new episode 7, a very big problem will certainly take place. It turns out that a secret, experimental cancer treatment that Mac is working on with a friend will get found out by a bunch of thugs that attack their lab! They will end up kidnapping Mac’s partner and come up with a plan to use the research to create a powerful, new, nerve agent!
CBS’ official description for episode 7 reads like this, “The secret experimental cancer treatment Mac’s developing with a friend is discovered when culprits ransack their lab, kidnap Mac’s partner and plan to use the research to create a powerful new nerve agent.”
Episode 7 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Aly Michalka as character (Frankie), Marcus Deanda as character (Luiz), Jenny Cooper as character (Nina Harris), Patrick Wade as character (Ben) and Alex Dauphin as character (Sandra).
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 7 are: Lucas Till as character (Angus “Mac” MacGyver), Tristin Mays as character (Riley Davis), Justin Hires as character (Wilt Bozer), Meredith Eaton as character (Matty Weber), Levy Tran as character (Desi Nguyen) and Henry Ian Cusick as character (Russ Taylor).
Episode 7 was written by Joshua Brown and Andrew Karlsruher, and it was directed by David Straiton.
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 7 of MacGyver’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally arrive next Friday night, February 5, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
