The Bachelor March 8, 2022 Eliminated Susie Evans In Messy Conclusion (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, March 8,2022, another new episode for The Bachelor 2022 edition with headliner Clayton Echard did indeed air, and it definitely got very emotional, resulting in one lady getting the boot.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with Clayton and his final three ladies in Reykjavik, Iceland for the overnight dates. Clayton told the private cams, “I might be falling in love with all these women, and I’m in love with Susie.”

Meanwhile, the women got their first date card from host Jesse Palmer. Rachel ended up getting the first date card. Susie told the private cams, “I would be devastated if I found out Clayton was intimate and falling in love with other women.”

Next, we got footage of Rachel and Clayton’s 1 on 1 date. Rachel greeted Clayton with a huge hug and kiss. Then, they took a helicopter ride. They appeared to be having a great time as they kissed on the helicopter. Their destination was a snowy mountain top. Clayton told Rachel, “We’re going inside an inactive volcano.” So, they went on to have that very unique experience.

Clayton told the private cams, “I think I am falling for Rachel.” At one point, Clayton and Rachel talked about how good their day was, and they kissed. Rachel told the private cams, “I want Clayton to open up more. If he doesn’t, I’m afraid our relationship isn’t meant to be.”

During the second half of their date, Rachel told the private cams, “I love Clayton. I can definitely see him being my future husband.” Next, we got footage of Clayton and Rachel talking over dinner. Rachel told Clayton, “I felt like we were on a different planet on our date. It was great, but I don’t know where you’re at.”

Clayton said, “I wish I had told you sooner. I am falling in love with you. I have been feeling this way for a couple of weeks. I haven’t felt this way since my last relationship.” Rachel said, “That makes me feel so much better,” and they kissed.

Rachel told the private cams, “I feel incredibly close to Clayton, knowing that all my feelings are reciprocated.” Next, Clayton and Rachel went to the fantasy suite and kissed on the bed before the cameras cut out.

Meanwhile, Susie told the private cams, “If Clayton sleeps with another woman, I would have a really hard time moving forward with him.”

Then, we got footage of Clayton and Rachel waking up together in the fantasy suite. They did some more kissing after saying sweet nothings to each other. Rachel told the private cams, “Intimacy is really important. So, it was a good night.” Clayton and Rachel said, “I love you” to each other to end the date.

Next, it was Gabby’s turn. She greeted Clayton with a huge hug. During their 1 on 1 date, they drove a dune buggy through some desert-like area. Then, they talked. Gabby told Clayton, “If you pick me at the end, I want it to be because you explored all of your options and picked me.” Clayton said, “It’s good to see where you’re at mentally. I’m glad you opened up. I appreciate it so much,” and they kissed. Clayton told the private cams, “I’m falling in love with Gabby.”

During the second half of their date, Clayton told Gabby, “I realized that I’m falling in love with you. I really am.” Gabby said, “Thank you,” and they kissed. Then, they went to the fantasy suite. Meanwhile, Susie kept expressing worry to the private cams about what was going on with the other dates.

We got footage of Clayton and Gabby waking up together in the fantasy suite. To cap off their overnight date, Clayton told Gabby, “It feels so right being with you.” Gabby said, “You’re so easy to fall in love with,” and they kissed. Then, Clayton shouted to Gabby, “I’m falling in love, and it feels so good!”

From there, we got more of Susie telling the private cams, “I’m in a dark place. I want to get to the bottom of everything.”

Finally,Susie got to go on her 1 on 1 date with Clayton. It started off great. Susie greeted Clayton with a huge hug and kiss. He took her to a “cool mist spa.” They got in their swim suits and took a dip in some really cold water. They kept saying how cold they are. Then, they went and massaged each other and kissed.

Susie told Clayton, “This was fun.” Clayton agreed, and they kissed. Susie told the private cams, “I can totally see Clayton as someone I can get married to and start a family with. I’m all in with Clayton.”

During the second half, things got real messy. Clayton told Susie, “I’m falling in love with you. I was so afraid to admit it. It’s not am I falling in love with you. It’s I’m in love with you. I’ve been waiting to tell you. I’m so excited. This seemed like the perfect time.” Susie said, “That’s wonderful, but do you feel that same way with someone else? Have you slept with another woman? I wouldn’t be comfortable if you’re sharing your love with someone else.”

Clayton said, “To answer your question, yes I have slept with and expressed feelings of love with someone else here. I’m the most in love with you.” Susie said, “This hurts me even more. It’s heartbreaking to hear this. I don’t think I can get past this.”

Clayton said, “If I knew that this was a deal breaker, I wouldn’t have did those things. I hope what we have is worth fighting for.” Susie said, “I feel like I want someone who would have thought about how it would have made me feel. I don’t know if can get through this. I’m very confused right now, and I don’t know what to think.” Clayton kept telling her, “If this was a deal breaker for you, you should have told me before all of this. I’v already done everything now.”

From there, Susie walked away and told the private cams, “I know what he’s saying, and I believe him, but I just can’t accept it.” Clayton told the private cams, “This is exactly what I was afraid of. I don’t believe in anything anymore!” Clayton told Jesse, “Susie has just torn me apart! She’s completely destroyed me!”

Susie came back to talk with Clayton. She told him, “I feel awful. I should have had that conversation with you. I don’t feel like I can leave here with you. I feel so awful. I feel like I messed everything up. I feel so awful about this whole thing.”

Clayton said, “In my eyes, you just invalidated this whole thing. I thought you were someone who would fight for our love, but you’re not. I don’t even know who I’m looking at anymore. I totally don’t agree with how you went about this. So, I’m done.” Then, he walked her out to the exit car. Susie kept trying to apologize, but Clayton just told her, “I just have to accept that this is a lesson for me, and I’m done.”

During her exit ride, Susie told the private cams, “I’m really sorry, but I would’ve hoped he could’ve been more understanding about how I felt.” And that was the show, guys. Susie’s out after she totally ticking off Clayton.

Then next, new episode of The Bachelor 2022 edition with headliner Clayton Echard is scheduled to air next Monday night, March 14, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC.
