Hey,”Chicago Fire” fans. We totally hope you guys had a blast watching what episode 22 had to deliver ,tonight, especially since it’s the very last episode of this current season 11. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s episode 22 was indeed the season 10 finale episode. So, you will have to get prepared to go without new episodes for at least a couple of months.

The good news is that we can officially tell you that more new episodes of Chicago Fire are on the way because NBC wasted no time in renewing Chicago Fire for a brand new season 11! That’s right, guys. Bust open the champagne bottles because another season 11 run is in the works.

Actually, according to the folks over at Deadline.com , NBC renewed Chicago Fire for a new season 11 way, way back in February 2020 as part of a multi-year renewal offer. So, you’re favorite show was never in Jeopardy of getting canceled. It was a done deal from the start of this season.

Currently, we don’t have the exact date for the season 11 premiere or the episode count. However, if we had to guess, we would say that season 11 is probably going to debut in the Fall 2022 with another 22-episode count. Again, we’ll have to wait until NBC officially announces that important info at a later date to be 100 percent sure.

Chicago Fire season 10 averaged 7.063 million LIVE viewers per episode,and a 0.79 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 22, which aired last Wednesday night, May 18, 2022, drew in 6.790 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.69 ratings score.

The most-viewed episode was episode 11 with 7.411 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 8 with 6.629 million LIVE viewers.

The highest-rated episode was episode 15 with a 0.91 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 20 with a 0.68 ratings score. So, Chicago Fire definitely delivered more good numbers for NBC this season. We’re quite sure NBC didn’t regret giving them such an early renewal.
