FBI Most Wanted Season 4 May 23, 2023 Episode 22 Is The Finale. Season 5 Is Happening

Hey, “FBI: Most Wanted” fans. We are back in action to make you aware of some good news and some bad news. We will, of course, start off with the bad news, which is that tonight’s episode 22 was the end of the line for FBI: Most Wanted’s current season 4. That’s right, guys. You won’t be getting anymore new episodes of FBI: Most Wanted for a good long while since season 4 is officially a wrap tonight.

The good news is that you will get to see a new episode of FBI: Most Wanted at some point in the future because CBS did renew it for a brand new season 5! That’s right, guys. FBI: Most Wanted will be back in your faces next season to deliver another new pile of brand new episodes.

When the new season 5 will debut, and how many episodes it will feature are the next big questions we’re waiting to get the answers to, especially with this writers strike that’s threatening to push back production dates.


According to the folks over at Deadline.com , FBI: Most Wanted was given a super early renewal because it was given a season 5 renewal ,last year, at the same time it was renewed for season 4. Yep, apparently, CBS renewed all of the FBI shows: FBI, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted for two more seasons last year. So, there was never any doubt about any of their futures this season.

During the announcement of their renewals, the president of CBS Entertainment Kelly Hahl had these wonderful words to say about the FBI line of shows: “The FBIs are one of the most successful brands in the entire TV landscape and a powerful cornerstone of our number one lineup.

They’ve attracted a dedicated, loyal fan base, thanks to the extraordinary vision of executive producer Dick Wolf and the talents of all three outstanding casts and creative teams. I know we and our viewers look forward to two additional seasons of engaging, heroic stories.”

The creator for the FBI shows Dick Wolf also chimed in with some words of gratitude to CBS stating, “Everybody who works on these three shows is over the moon about the multi-year pickups. We are all incredibly grateful to CBS and our partners at Universal Television and CBS Studios. And I personally would like to thank the incredible casts, talented writers and dedicated producers, not to mention three crews who never missed an airdate despite the difficulties of producing full seasons during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, FBI: Most Wanted averaged 5.087 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.39 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 21, which aired last Tuesday night, May 16, 2023, managed to draw in 5.051 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.37 ratings score.

The most-viewed episode was episode 16 with 6.076 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 9 with 4.396 million LIVE viewers. The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.51 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 14 with a 0.31 ratings score. So, that was definitely another great performance for the FBI: Most Wanted series.
