New Riverdale Season 7, August 2, 2023 Episode 17 Spoilers Revealed
Hey, “Riverdale” fans. We’re back to let you know that The CW people will indeed serve up another new episode of Riverdale tonight, August 2, 2023. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode will be the 17th installment for Riverdale’s current season 7, and we’ve got some new spoiler scoops for it to run by you guys.
We were able to collect a couple of new, official teaser descriptions for this new episode 17 via The CW’s official episode 17 press release synopsis. So, we’re going to certainly reference it for this spoiler session. Let’s get into it.
For starters, there is an official title for this new episode 17 of Riverdale season 7. The writers decided to name this one, “Chapter One Hundred Thirty-Four: A Different Kind of Cat.” It sounds like episode 17 will feature some very interesting, dramatic and possible emotional scenes as Betty gets some help with a new endeavor. A movie star comes to town. A plan falls apart and more.
We’ll go ahead and kick off this spoiler session with the Betty situation. Yep, it turns out that Betty will be back in action in this episode, and she’ll be looking to publish her very own book. So, she will get Cheryl and Toni to give her a helping hand with this endeavor.
The CW’s official description for this new book endeavor tells us, “Betty (Lili Reinhart) enlists help from Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) and Toni (Vanessa Morgan) after deciding she’s going to publish her own book.”
The second spoiler scoop reveals that a Hollywood movie star by the name of Josie McCoy will show up in town to screen her newest movie. So, we’re going to see Veronica, Kevin and Clay get together to host Josie’s arrival.
The CW’s description for this movie star arrival reads like this, “Veronica (Camila Mendes), Kevin (Casey Cott) and Clay (guest star Karl Walcott) host Hollywood movie star Josie McCoy (guest star Ashleigh Murray), who is in town to screen her latest film.”
The 3rd and last teaser description for this new episode 17 lets us know that Archie will also try to accomplish a new goal with his poetry at some point, but it’s not going to quite turn out the way he planned.
The CW’s description for this failed Archie plan reads like this, “Archie’s (KJ Apa) attempt to take his poetry to the next level doesn’t go as planned.” Episode 17 was directed by Kevin Rodney Sullivan, and it was written by Ariana Jackson and Evan Kyle.
The CW’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of Riverdale’s current season 7 is indeed scheduled to hit the air tonight, August 2, 2023, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
