New Riverdale Season 7, August 9, 2023 Episode 18 Spoilers Revealed
Hey, “Riverdale” fans. We’re back with some wonderful news for you guys because The CW folks are going to serve up another new episode of Riverdale tonight, August 9, 2023. That’s right, guys. The CW is serving up the next, new episode 18 of Riverdale’s current season 7 tonight, and we’ve got some new spoiler scoops for it to dish out to you guys.
We were able to hunt down an official press release for this new episode 18. So, we will certainly pull it up for this spoiler session. Let’s get into it.
First thing’s first. The CW let us know that there is an official title for this new episode 18 of Riverdale season 7. The writers decided to name this one, “Chapter One Hundred Thirty-Five: For A Better Tomorrow.” It sounds like episode 18 will feature some very intense, dramatic, interesting and emotional scenes as a new mystery pops up in town. Archie starts having second thoughts. A very startling discovery takes place and more.
We’ll go ahead and kick off this spoiler session with the new mystery situation. Yep, it turns out that a new mystery will definitely be in the works in this episode, and it will certainly have Jughead’s attention as he will think it has ties to a couple of mysterious murders.
The CW’s official description for this new mystery plotline tells us,”As the gang gets swept up in Cold War paranoia, a new mystery brewing in Riverdale leads Jughead (Cole Sprouse) to suspect it may have ties to a string of suspicious murders in town.”
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Archie is going to get a real hard time from his Uncle Frank in regards to his poetry writing hobby to the point that Archie will actually start to have some second thoughts about his entire future.
The CW’s description for Archie’s second thoughts reads like this, “Archie (KJ Apa) reconsiders his future after Uncle Frank (guest star Ryan Robbins) gives him a hard time about his poetry writing.”
The 3rd and final teaser description for this new episode 18 lets us know that we’re going to see Betty in action again at some point, and it sounds like things will get really intense for her in this episode as a shocking family discovery will totally rock her to her core!
The CW’s description for this shocking discovery scenario reads like this, “A shocking discovery involving her family shakes Betty (Lili Reinhart) to her core.”
Episode 18 will also feature stars: Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, Madchen Amick, Casey Cott, Charles Melton, Vanessa Morgan and Drew Ray Tanner. Episode 18 was directed by Greg Smith, and it was written by Ted Sullivan & Greg Murray.
The CW’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 18 of Riverdale’s current season 7 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens tonight, August 9, 2023, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
