The Amazing Race October 11, 2023 Eliminated No One (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, October 11, 2023, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 35 did indeed hit the air. Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the teams learning they had to fly out to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to start off this leg of the race. Once they arrived in Vietnam, they had to head to the city of Can Tho via a bus to get their first clue.
The first clue told them they had to travel on sampans on the Cai Rang Floating Market. When they got their, they had to collect dragon fruit, tangerines and golden melons and deliver them to vendors to get their next clue. Morgan and Lena decided to use their express pass for this challenge because they thought it was going to waste too much time for them.
After successfully completing the fruit delivering task, the teams ran into their detours, which were either “Paper” or “Plastic.” In the “Paper” detour, the teams had to learn how to make rice paper. Then, make 12 good sheets of it to get their next clue.
Malaina & Andrea ran into an issue with this one because all five stations were taken. They had to wait for one of the teams to finish before they could even start it, but they finally got to do it, and actually finished ahead of a few teams. Meanwhile, Jocelyn & Victor did not thrive in this challenge and were the last team left there, but they did finally push through it.
In the “Plastic” detour, the teams had to heat and apply a perfect round of vinyl plastic to just one part of a motorcycle without there being any air bubbles or anything to get their next clue.
Once the teams successfully completed the detour they chose to do, they were directed to race to the Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery, which was the pit stop.
Steve & Anna Leigh took first place, but host Phil Keoghan told them this leg isn’t over. They’re still racing and gave them another clue. Joe & Garrett finished 2nd, but had to keep racing. Rob & Corey came in 3rd. Todd & Ashlie arrived in the 4th spot.
Robbin & Chelsea took the 5th spot. Morgan & Lena came in 6th place. Joe & Ian came in 7th. Greg & John came in 8th. Andrea & Malaina came in 9th. Jocelyn & Victor came in 10th. Liam & Yeremi came in last, but this pit stop wasn’t the end of this leg, so they got to keep going. No one was eliminated in this episode. This leg of the race will conclude in next week’s new episode.
