The Amazing Race December 6, 2023 Eliminated Steve & Anna Leigh (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, December 6, 2023, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 35 did indeed hit the air, and another unlucky team did get eliminated for not quite being fast enough.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the remaining teams learning they had to catch a flight over to Dublin, Ireland for this leg of the race. They also found out that this was a penultimate leg, which meant they had to complete all 4 of the challenges.
Once the teams arrived in Dublin, Ireland, they had to drive to Castle Rock school and take a swim in the very cold water to retrieve a clue from a buoy. After successfully completing that task, the teams had to drive to the Gaiety Theatre to get their next clue. When they got there, they were hit with a Roadblock challenge. During it, one of the team members had to learn and perform 30 seconds of an Irish Riverdance to get their next clue.
After successfully completing the Riverdance, the teams had to drive to Croke Park to get their next clue at the top of the stadium. When they got there, they got hit with another Road Block challenge titled, “Who got the swing?” In this one, one team member had to join a hurling team and complete one of their drills to get their next clue.
After the teams successfully wrapped up the “Who Got Swing?” Roadblock challenge, they were directed to drive to Toner’s pub to get their next clue. When they got there, they had to memorize and recite two famous quotes from James Joyce to get their next clue.
After successfully reciting the famous quotes, the teams were directed to hit up Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race.
Rob and Corey showed up in first place and won a trip for two to Fiji from Expedia. Greg and John took 2nd place. Joel and Garrett claimed the very important 3rd spot to just narrowly avoid being eliminated. That means poor Steve and Anna Leigh showed up in last place and got eliminated. Anna said,”It’s the worst feeling in the world to finish dead last, but I don’t regret this experience at all.”
