New Magnum PI Season 5, December 20 & 27,2023 Episode 19 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Magnum P.I.” fans. Unfortunately we’ve hopped on here with some bad news to deliver. It turns out that the next, new episode 19 of Magnum PI’s current season 5 is being put on the back burner tonight, December 20, 2023 and next Wednesday night, December 27, 2023. That’s right, guys. NBC is going to make you wait a few extra weeks to see the new episode 19.
According to NBC’s new episode 19 press release, NBC doesn’t plan to air the new episode 19 until Wednesday night, January 3,2024. During that time, it will air in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to look for the new episode 19 to finally show then.
In the meantime, we did track down what NBC is airing instead of a new Magnum PI episode tonight and next Wednesday night. According to the TV guide listings, FOX is airing a Christmas special tonight titled, “Christmas at the Opry.”
NBC’s official description for this Christmas special reads like this, “Wynonna Judd hosts the holiday event, featuring performances by country music icons Mitchell Tenpenny, Kelly Clarkson, Trace Adkins and more in front of a live audience of country music fans at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn.”
Next Wednesday night,December 27,2023, NBC is going to air a repeat episode of Magnum PI. It will be episode 12 of its season 5 titled, “Three Bridges.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Magnum and Higgins try to help Zhao, a close friend of Kumu, recover her life savings that were all lost to a scammer; TC becomes increasingly frustrated at the lack of progress in his recovery and pushes everyone away.”
If any of you guys find that alternate line of programming to be enticing at all, you might still want to keep NBC on your primetime watchlist tonight and next Wednesday night. If that alternate line of programming isn’t your cup of tea, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans on Wednesday nights until January 3, 2024.
Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we did track down an official teaser description for the next, new episode 19 of Magnum PI season 5 via NBC’s official episode 19 press release. It let us know that episode 19 is officially titled, “ASHES TO ASHES.”
NBC’s description for episode 19 reads like this, “Magnum and Higgins re-examine a fatal arson investigation at the request of TC and Mahina, leading to a sinister discovery. Kumu volunteers with Rick at a veterans’ crisis call center.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 19 of Magnum PI’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally show up on your TV sets on Wednesday night, January 3, 2024, in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.
