Survivor December 20, 2023 Episode Is The Finale. New Season 46 Is Happening
Hey, “Survivor” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed tonight’s December 20, 2023 episode, especially since it was indeed the finale episode of Survivor’s current season 45. That means you guys won’t get to see a new Survivor episode for a good while, but it won’t be extremely far off.
Yeah, we can officially tell you, right now, that the CBS people have renewed Survivor for a brand new season 46. Along with that, we have the premiere date for it. It’s actually just right around the corner. According to the folks over at Entertainment Weekly ,the new season 46 of Survivor is going to debut on Wednesday night, February 28,2024 with a big, 2-hour episode.
CBS is going to air another 2-hour episode that following week on March 6,2024. After that, Survivor will go back to airing 90-minute episodes. So, we’re going to get more extra long episodes for season 46 due to the writers and actors strike causing a lack of scripted programs to air.
According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, Survivor season 45 averaged 4.981 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.79 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 12, which aired last Wednesday night, December 13,2023, drew in 5.334 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.84 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was episode 12 with 5.334 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 7 with 4.527 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was episode 9 with a 0.85 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 7 with a 0.71 ratings score. So, that definitely sounds like another solid performance for Survivor. It’s not hard to see why CBS keeps renewing it. Again, the new season 46 is scheduled to debut on Wednesday night, February 26, 2024 with a big, 2-hour episode.
