American Idol March 16 Episode To Feature Try A Little Tenderness Singer And More
ABC is officially scheduled to dish up another new episode of their hit singing contest show American Idol tonight, March 16, 2025, and it’s going to feature a contestant that shows up to sing, “Try A Little Tenderness” by Otis Redding for the judges at some point and more. This episode is the 3rd one for this current season 23.
According to ABC’s official episode 3 press release information, this episode is going to feature more first round auditions that took place over in New York City, Los Angeles, California and Nashville, Tennessee.
That means another new batch of contestants are going to show up to try and wow the judges into giving them a ticket to the next round.
ABC’s official description for this new episode 3 of American Idol season 23 reads like this, “Auditions continue in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville, Tennessee, where impressive competitors showcase their talents in fierce competition.”
Also, ABC released a new preview clip for this episode. It features the singer we mentioned earlier in this article. His name is Filo Ebid. He sang the song, “Try A Little Tenderness” by Otis Redding for the celebrity judges: Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan.
Afterwards, Lionel said, “We’ve been waiting for you!” Luke said, “What took you so long to get here. You are born to sing.” Carrie said, “Three notes in, in my brain, I just thought ‘Holy Shrek. Just wow. It was really fantastic.”

Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that another new episode of American Idol’s current season 23 is scheduled to hit your TV screens tonight, March 16, 2025 in the 7 pm central standard time slot. It will be a 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
