Magnum PI Season 4, March 18, 2022 Episode 17 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Magnum P.I.” fans. Unfortunately, we have another new set of bad news that we have to tell you guys in this article. It turns out that the folks over at CBS are not going to air the next, new episode 17 of Magnum PI’s current season 4 tonight, March 18, 2022. They’re also not going to air it next Friday night, March 25, 2022.
Yep, your favorite CBS crime drama is currently off of the CBS primetime schedule for 2 weeks. CBS has informed us that they plan to air the new episode 17 on Friday night, April 1,2022 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to not let that very important date and time slip from your memory.
We did find out why CBS is not airing new episodes of Magnum PI ,tonight, and next week. It’s the same reason they’re not airing pretty much most of the shows they usually air. They had to clear out their usual line up to make room for all of the LIVE coverage they’re giving to the March Madness, 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
That’s right, guys. CBS will be airing LIVE coverage of one of the first round games featuring the Cal State Fullerton Titans versus the Duke Blue Devils tonight. CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Mike Krzyzewski begins coaching his final NCAA Tournament as the No. 2 seed Blue Devils (28-6) clash with the Big West champion and No. 15 Titans (21-10). Coach K is retiring at the end of the season, his 42nd at Duke. He has won five NCAA titles.”
Then, next Friday night, March 25, 2022, CBS’ LIVE coverage of the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will continue with the Regional, Semifinals game. The teams have yet to be announced because they have to see who wins to get to that point. CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “College basketball teams vie for the national championship.”
If any of you guys happen to also be fans of College Basketball, you might still want to hit up CBS over this two-week delay of Magnum PI to catch all of this March Madness hype. If it’s the complete opposite, and you only want new episodes of Magnum PI, you will certainly want to get some alternative plans lined up until that April 1, 2022 date gets here.
With all that said, we were able to track down an official title for the next, new episode 17 of Magnum PI’s current season 4 from CBS. It’s called, “Remember Me Tomorrow.”
Magnum PI season 4 is currently averaging 5.299 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.43 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 16, which aired last Friday night, March 11, 2022, managed to draw in 5.007 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.41 ratings score. So, those numbers are looking pretty decent. Hopefully, they’ll be good enough for a new season 5 renewal from CBS later on this year. Cross your fingers.
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of Magnum PI’s current season 4 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Friday night, April 1, 2022 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
