Ashton Kutcher’s ‘Killers’ Movie Delivered Really Good Laughs & Action
Ashton Kutcher’s ‘Killers’ movie delivered really good laughs & action. Lionsgate released their new Ashton Kutcher action/comedy flick “Killers” into theaters this weekend. It was surprisingly very funny, and delivered a lot of good action scenes. I totally disagree with the top critics assessment on this flick. Most of them seemed to think it was bad,but It was really very good. Ashton did a real good job, along with his co-star Katherine Heigl. It stars: Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, Tom Selleck, Catherine O’Hara, Katheryn Winnick, Kevin Sussman, Lisa Ann Walter, Casey Wilson, Rob Riggle, Martin Mull, and Alex Borstein.
“Killers” revolved around characters Jen Kornfeldt (Katherine Heigl) and Spencer Aimes (Ashton Kutcher). Spencer is a secret spy who kills people for a living, but decides to get out of the business when he meets Jen. They eventually get married, and the movie fast-forwards three years later. Everything seems to be fine until Spencer gets a call from his old boss who wants him to get back in the business for another job.
Spencer refuses to do the deal. However, the last person that Spencer would ever suspect to be a killer finds out about the call. Then shortly after that, Spencer starts getting attacked by people who he thought were his friends, claiming he has a $20 million bounty for his life. This sets in motion a series of funny,action-filled events that sends viewers on an emotional roller coaster ride.
Spencer has to fess up to Jen about who he really is,protect him and her from getting killed, wrestle, fight, and engage in car chases with most of the people in town that he thought he knew because they’re trying to kill him. Spencer and Jen fight to save their lives, which leads to a twist-filled ending that reveals the culprit being more close-to-home than they ever thought. I thought the movie was excellent. It didn’t have a boring moment in it,and it kinda left me wanting more. It was a pleasant surprise. Ashton Kutcher did actual action fight scenes that were surprisingly entertaining.
Grade: B+
