Review: Diary Of A Wimpy Kid 2 Movie Delivered Tons Of Laughs & More
Diary Of A Wimpy Kid 2 movie delivered tons of laughs & more. 20th Century Fox released their new comedy flick “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was very entertaining, delivering tons of laughs that were just so embarrassing for little Greg, that I felt embarrassed for him at times. The movie stars: Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Rachael Harris, Devon Bostick, and Steve Zahn.
“Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2” was all about character Greg (Zachary Gordon) and his crazy older brother Rodrick (Devon Bostick). From the very start of the movie, Rodrick was up to all of his Greg embarrassing, nasty tricks .
Greg’s in the 7th grade now,and the movie kicks off in a skating rink where he sees a cute little girl named Holly Hills (Peyton List) he wants to impress. However, things don’t go well as Rodrick makes sure he falls flat on his butt, and eventually into a cake.
Things continuously get worse between Greg and Rodrick, and their mother really wants them to get along. She comes up with little schemes to help them try to get along better, but it’s not until Greg makes Rodrick think that he didn’t snitch on him about his unauthorized party that they start to get along better.
Unfortunately, their new-found friendship doesn’t last long because Greg took pictures of the party when it was going on,and forgot about them. This little mistake eventually gets discovered, and puts the both of them in a heap of trouble. Only now,it’s worse because Rodrick is pissed because his parents punishment includes not letting him participate in a talent show with his band that he thinks could change his life forever.
This causes him to pick on Greg even more as he considers the whole thing to be his fault. However, in the end little Greg comes through for Rodrick,in a very funny way, to help set things right. The flick delivered tons of funny moments that included, Greg getting embarrassed in front of everybody because of a chocolate stain on the back of his pants, Greg having to run around in public with nothing but his underwear on,an odd/funny little Hindu kid named Chirag Gupta, and more.
I thought the movie was fun to watch. It had me cracking up the entire time. It never had a dull moment. I gave it a nice A grade. “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2” is in theaters now. Get your “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2” movie tickets by Clicking Here.
