Review: ‘Fast Five’ Movie Showed Lots Of Fast Car Action,Violence & More
‘Fast Five’ movie showed lots of fast car action, violence & more. Universal Pictures released their new action flick “Fast Five” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and I was definitely not disappointed.
This movie brought some serious,non-stop, action throughout its entire duration. It stars: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Matt Schulze, Tego Calderon, Don Omar, Elsa Pataky, Joaquim de Almeida, and Dwayne Johnson.
The film kicked off with characters Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster) busting Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) out of a moving prison bus,and it was a wild scene from the “get go.” After that, you just knew it was going to get even better, and indeed, it did.
Dom,Brian, and Mia eventually get caught up in a car heist gone bad with some of druglord Reyes’ men,who ended up killing a couple of federal agents, and making it look like Dom and his crew did it,bumping them to the top of the FBI’s “most wanted” list.
They brought in a major federal agent named Luke Hobbs (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) to hunt them down. So,now, Dom and the crew are on the run from the Feds and Reyes’ murdering men,who also have the Brazilian cops on their side. With all this heat on their tails, they come up with a plan to rob Reyes’ of all his $100 million dollars in dirty money and flee, but they would need a team to accomplish it.
From there, the team arrived on the scene, which included some old faces from the past Roman Pierce (Tyerese Gibson), Tej (Ludacris),Han (Sung Kang),and some other new people, including another gorgeous lady who liked riding motorcycles. Together, they came up with the ultimate heist, while also delivering some good laughs
As the film rolled along, Dom’s team managed to avoid both the Feds and Reyes’ guys to set the whole thing up. Unfortunately, they ran into some turbulence towards the end,but a great twists in the plot, busted that wide open, and pretty much anything went.
They also made an awesome “switch” at the very end that left everyone clapping their hands in the theater. It was great. The movie delivered awesome car chases, gun shootouts, great fight scenes, including the big Vin and Rock fight,a town completely being destroyed by a huge safe that was drug across it,and more.
This flick just wouldn’t stop. It never had an ounce of a dull moment. I thought the whole crew did a great job. Tyrese and Ludacris were very funny, and everyone pulled off some very clever tricks during the film. I definitely gave this movie an A+ grade.
