Pirates Of The Caribbean 4 movie delivered lots of action,adventure & more. Walt Disney Pictures released their new action,adventure flick “Pirates Of The Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides” into theaters today and it didn’t disappoint.
It delivered a ton of action,adventure,comedy,and a little sci-fi action with Black Beard’s black arts,and,of course, the magical Fountain of Youth. The movie stars: Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Kevin R. McNally, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Sam Claflin,and Geoffrey Rush.
In the flick, the crazy Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is now on a mission to get a boat so he can get to the mystical “Fountain of Youth.” However,others know he possesses the map so he gets captured a few times,but it is Jack’s old girlfriend Angelica (Penelope Cruz) who ends up capturing,and forcing him onto Blackbeard’s boat so he can lead them to the magical fountain.
Apparently, Angelica turns out to be Blackbeard’s daughter who wishes to help give him eternal life from the fountain. However, there’s a special ritual that must take place in order for it to work,and it also entails the sacrifice of another.
Jack is resistant in helping Blackbeard at first until he’s shown a demonstration of how Black Beard would kill him if he didn’t help. One of the ingredients for the ritual required getting the tear of a mermaid. This feat proved to be quite difficult as mermaids in this movie,are very ruthless and quite vicious.
Each ingredient posed difficult challenges for Sparrow and anyone helping him. After they collected everything, the film led up to a huge finale,which involved much fighting,Fountain of Youth ingredients being tossed around between different people,and more. It finally came to and end with a very good twist,and it ,of course, left it open for yet another adventurous sequel.
I really enjoyed watching this movie. They kept it running at a pretty fast pace. Johnny and Penelope had great onscreen chemistry,which made for some really good scenes.
