New ‘Tower Heist’ Movie Delivered Great Suspense,Drama,Comedy & More
New ‘Tower Heist’ movie delivered great suspense, drama, comedy & more. Universal Pictures released their new action/comedy flick “Tower Heist” into theaters this weekend. I just got done watching it,and I thought it was extremely funny and entertaining. Eddie Murphy really pulled out all the funny in this one. He had me cracking up. The movie stars: Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, Matthew Broderick, Téa Leoni, Gabourey Sidibe, Casey Affleck, Stephen Henderson, Judd Hirsch, Michael Pena, and Alan Alda.
In the flick, character Josh Kovacs (Ben Stiller) is the manager of a Central Park condominium, and everything seems to be going well at first, until the FBI raids Arthur Shaw’s penthouse suite, claiming he’s a fraud. Arthur is supposed to be a Wall Street billionaire, and unfortunately Josh entrusted all of his employees’ pension funds to Arthur.
Now that the news is out,he has to tell his employees what happened, and one of them get so upset that he tried to commit suicide. This causes Josh to snap, and decides to plan a heist to steal $20 million that Arthur has supposedly hidden from the FBI via a secret wall in the penthouse.
As his crazy plan formulates, he gets three of his employees to help him out, along with a crazy crook named Slide (Eddie Murphy). Despite Slide and Josh getting off to bumpy start, they eventually devise a plan to heist the money from the safe by setting a couple of events into motion that would distract the condo employees at just the right time .
However, as these things often turn out,it didn’t go as planned as Slide had his own agenda, and they also found out that Arthur’s hidden $20 million stash wasn’t quite where Josh thought it would be,causing a major change in plans.
It concluded with a few big twists that pretty much left everyone happy except that scheming swindler Arthur. I thought the movie was very entertaining. It never had a dull moment, and delivered lots of laughs with Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller. The supporting cast was pretty good too. I also liked the plotline. It kept me intrigued. I gave the movie a good B+ grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
