New ‘Hit And Run’ Movie Served Up Great Action,Drama,Comedy & More
New ‘Hit And Run’ movie served up great action, drama, comedy & more. Open Road Films released their new action/comedy flick “Hit and Run” into theaters this past Wednesday,August 22nd. I just watched it today, and thought it was wildly entertaining. It offered up a bunch of comedy, crazy action, drama, and more with crazy Dax Shepard and a slew of other big names. It stars: Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell, Bradley Cooper, Tom Arnold, Beau Bridges, Kristin Chenoweth, David Koechner, Michael Rosenbaum, Joy Bryant, and Ryan Hansen.
In the new flick, character Yul Perrkins a.k.a. Charles Bronson (Dax Shepard) is an undercover witness/criminal living in a witness protection program with his girlfriend Annie Bean (Kristen Bell). Everything appears to be going great for Yul in his new life until Annie gets offered a very rare job opportunity in Los Angeles,California.
Hell bent on making Annie happy, Yul puts his witness protection cover at risk by deciding to move to L.A. with Annie and take her to her job interview. Unfortunately, Annie’s jealous crush guy Gil Rathbinn, writes down the license plate of Yul’s car,and uses his police brother to run a check to find out Yul’s real identity.
From there, Gil tips off Yul’s ex gang member Alex Dmitri (Bradley Cooper) to Yul’s whereabouts. This sets up a huge car chase, and eventually causes Yul to have to come clean with Annie about everything that happened in his past.
To make things worse, Alex and company eventually track down and kidnap Annie in order to get to Yul so they can get back a stash of money that Yul buried in his Los Angeles backyard, which was collected from past bank robberies where Yul drove the getaway car. Yeah,it was a big mess that led to a big conclusion, involving gun shootouts, car chases, and a just a ton of drama.
I really enjoyed watching the film. It was very fun to watch as the pace was very fast and never slowed down. Kristen Bell is one of my favorite actresses ,and she did a great job in this. The Hangover’s Bradley Cooper was also quite humorous as the violent bank robbing criminal, Alex Dimitri. I also always enjoy watching Dax Shephard in movies as he’s pretty damn funny as well. I gave the movie a solid A- grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
