New Red Dawn Remake Movie Delivered Lots Of Great Action,Drama,Suspense & More
New Red Dawn remake movie delivered lots of great action, drama, suspense & more. Film District released their new action/drama/remake flick “Red Dawn” into theaters this past Wednesday,November 21st. I just checked it out,and thought it was absolutely awesome. It served up a ton of nonstop, intense action, drama, suspense, and more. It stars: Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck, Josh Hutcherson, Adrianne Palicki, Isabel Lucas, Connor Cruise, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
In the new flick, everything appears to be normal in the small town of Spokane, Washington until one day, a sky full of North Korean planes and parachutes appear in the sky, follow by huge explosions and gunfire. Character Jed Eckert (Chris Hemsworth) and his crew quickly jump in a pickup truck and get the hell out of dodge before the Koreans can capture them.
They eventually made their way to a cabin in the woods out of panic. Jed being a former Marine, quickly trains the group of teens on how to combat fight, handle lethal weapons and so on so forth. They formed a group called the Wolverines to fight back against the evil Koreans.
From there, they began setting up a couple of traps for the Korean guards, taking them out with guns, fighting ,and huge bombs. Eventually, the other citizens began to rise up with them to help fight.
Towards the end, the Wolverines made such an impact that they drew visits from other former military guys to come in and help. They eventually learned that they needed to steal the Korean’s special EMP-resistant radio telephone that allowed them to keep in contact with other occupation forces within the EMP area. Once Wolverines got it,they could then make plans to drive the Koreans out.
This led up to a big conclusion that involved a lot of suspense as Jed and the gang attempted a very elaborate plan to break into the Korean’s headquarters and steal the box. Tons of killing, shooting, fighting ,and a few sad moments went down. However, they did leave the ending sort of incomplete for me. In fact, it was so incomplete that it could’ve been left open for a sequel.
Again, I really enjoyed watching every single minute of this movie as it had an air of excitement, danger, drama, and suspense throughout the entire running time. It really had me wondering, what would they do next, which is always good. I wished that the ending would’ve been more fulfilling, but it was still damn good. I gave the movie a solid A grade.
