Milla Jovovich took a slight break away from her usual action roles to play Cydney in “A Perfect Get Away” movie this weekend. It was a pretty unique movie with some interesting twists and excitement, mostly towards the end.
In the plot, Cydney and Cliff (Steve Zahn) are a what appears to be, a typical romantic couple who are going on a vacation in Honolulu for their honeymoon. However when they get there, and begin their hiking tour, things start to get a bit irie.
They find out that a couple has been brutally murdered by a supposed woman and man team, and they are still on the loose. They decide to go on further anyways, despite the news, with there crazy tour guide Nick (Timothy Olyphant) and his girlfriend Gina (Kiele Sanchez).
In “Role Models” two traveling energy drink salesman, Wheeler(Seann William Scott) and Paul Rudd (Danny Donahue) go around to different schools pedalling the drink. Then one day after Paul gets dumped by his girlfriend,Beth(Elizabeth Banks) and being in a very bad mood gets them involved in an altercation that could land them both in jail for 30 days.
Beth being a lawyer is able to get them 150 hours of community service instead. The only problem is it’s a mentoring program where they have to hang out with some crazy kids and teach them stuff.
In “Soul Men” a trio singing group called, “The Real Deal” have a couple of hits in the past .Then lead singer,Marcus Hooks(John Legend) decides to persue a solo career leaving the other two members, Louis Hinds(Samuel L. Jackson) and Floyd Henderson(Bernie Mac) left to fend for themselves. Marcus goes on to be a musical success while the other two not so much. After a few failed musical attempts, the two break up over a girl and never speak to each other for over 20 years.
Alright, I just saw “Saw V” today and right off the bat which was no surprise to me it starts off with a grissly gruesome murder involving a huge swinging blade and cutting someone in half. This 5th installment of “Saw” explores deeper into Lieutenant Mark Hoffman’s(Costas Mandylor) involvement with John Jigsaw(Tobin Bell) and reveals that he actually helped out with most of the murders Jigsaw committed. He worked with Jigsaw because
“Max Payne” starts out with a brief interlude that reveals a later part in the movie where he’s drowning under water. After that it cuts back to the beginning of the film. I thought this was clever as it peaked my interest in the film even more. Ok, so Max Payne(Mark Wahlberg) is a detective who’s been hunting or working a case for three years which involves the murder of his wife and kid. The plot takes us to a night club where Max Payne meets up with Trevor(Andrew Friedman) an aquantance who he thinks is a step on the path to find his killer. Trevor introduces him to a Natasha (Olga Kurylenko) which is the sister of his soon to be partner in the film, Mona Sax(Mila Kunis). After a few minutes
Ok, I just got back from the theatre and guess what. I just saw “Eagle Eye” hence the name of this review. I must worn you be prepared to be extremely bored for about the first 20 minutes of this film because it does start off pretty slow as they try and build the story line and or plot together. In other words they don’t come bustin out of the gates with hardcore in your face action. I caught myself snoozing for the first 20 minutes. After that though it was all up hill with plenty of action as
