New ‘Bullet To The Head’ Movie Delivered Great Action,Drama & More
New ‘Bullet To The Head’ movie delivered great action, drama & more. Warner Bros. Pictures released their new action/thriller flick “Bullet To The Head” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was great, serving up major hardcore action along with a good plot. Sylvester Stallone can still bring the major pain in these action films. The movie stars: Sylvester Stallone, Sung Kang, Sarah Shahi, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christian Slater, Jon Seda, Weronika Rosati, and Jason Momoa.
In the new flick, hitman Jimmy Bobo (Sylvester Stallone) and his partner Louis Blanchard (Jon Seda) take out a corrupt policeman, named Hank Greely, as part of a job. However, Jimmy and Louis get double-crossed by their employer when they send in a man named Keegan (Jason Momoa) to try and kill them. He successfully kills Louis, but Jimmy put up a mean fight and got away.
From there, a Detective from out of town, named Taylor Kwon (Sung Kang), arrived on the scene to investigate, because Hank used to be his partner. Taylor eventually teams up with Jimmy to locate the men who set up the hit,so they could take out the source. Their teamwork doesn’t really run very smoothly at first as Jimmy doesn’t like working with cops. Plus there’s that whole thing of Jimmy wanting to kill people instead of them just getting arrested.
However, hell bent on getting revenge for the people who killed his partner,Jimmy works with Taylor to track down the culprits that were behind the hit. Their investigation eventually led them to find out that lawyer Robert Morel, Marcus Baptiste (Christian Slater),Ronnie Earl, and local mobster Baby Jack were the ones that orchestrated the murders, via their prized hitman Keegan.
Eventually ,Taylor and Jimmy track down the men, one by one. Taylor, being a cop, didn’t want to kill them, but they ended up dead, anyways, thanks to a vengeful Jimmy. The investigation eventually led to a big showdown, where hitman Keegan turns into a loose cannon, killing off his employers and going rogue. Then Jimmy and Keegan capped it off with a huge final showdown that was quite intense and action-filled.
Again, I thought the movie was great to watch for the entire run time as it never displayed a dull moment. The storyline was solid and kept me intrigued. Sylvester Stallone’s Jimmy character had a hot daughter in the flick ,and she served as great eye candy. There was also a touch of comedy, added throughout,so it pretty much had everything. I gave the movie solid B+ grade. Stay tuned. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Tumblr by Clicking Here.
