‘Pretty Little Liars’ Shay Mitchell Revealed What She Thinks About The New ‘Perfectionists’ Spin Off Show
Happy Wednesday,”Pretty Little Liars” fans. We’ve got a special, new update for you guys today. It’s in regards to former Pretty Little Liars, Emily Fields star Shay Mitchell! That’s right, guys. She recently spoke with the folks over at E! News about the upcoming Pretty Little Liars spin off show “The Perfectionists” while doing press for her new horror flick,”The Possession Of Hannah Grace.”
Shay had some pretty great things to say about the Perfectionists. We learned that she’s very excited to see it. In fact, she can’t wait to see it! She revealed her feelings about the Perfectionists when a fan on social media asked her, “I really wanna know if she would be down for another show like Pretty Little Liars, or if she would want to do something tots (totally) different?
Shay responded with, “To be honest. I think as an actor, you always do want to continue to challenge yourself which is why I took on this role. Of course, I loved being on Pretty Little Liars. I got a family from that, but at the same time, you always want to continue to challenge yourself. So, I’m really excited to see “The Perfectionists.” I can’t wait to see the spin off, and I’m really excited for everyone.”
In addition to talking about The Perfectionists, Shay ,of course, talked about her new horror movie, “Possession of Hannah Grace” which I saw this past weekend. It’s pretty good. It contains lots of “edge of your seat” moments.
They went over the movie a little bit, explaining that Shay’s character is basically locked in a morgue with a freaking demon that kills others to heal itself! Shay said of her new movie, “Yep, it’s kinda crazy especially when I hear it out loud. I’m like, ‘Wait, what?'”
E! News asked Shay, “Did you leave the set scared every night?” Shay said, “I didn’t leave the set scared. I think I was actually possessed by my character because we were shooting in Boston, and I was like an hour and a half outside in this like small, little motel for six weeks. So, it was like really messing with my mind. That was the scary part. I was getting possessed I feel like for that entire series. It wasn’t just one thing on the set. It was the entire six weeks.”
E! News asked Shay, “Were you nervous about the curse of doing a scary movie?” Shay responded with, “No, I didn’t even think about that until after I was doing press, and everybody’s question is, ‘like what happened on set? Was there anything crazy?’ I was like,’Wait, what? That happens?’ I didn’t know about that. So, I’m happy that I didn’t know about it.”
Next, E! News asked Shay, “Do you get more nervous for your close friends to see your projects or the general public? Shay revealed that she’s actually more nervous about her friends and family seeing her work stating, “I’m not so nervous about an audience. It’s coming out today, and I’m ok with that. But, my friends and family watching and I’m in the room. I’m just like, ‘Ugh.’ It’s a little awkward.”
After that, E! News asked Shay about an interesting thing she said about how her past year has been. The question read like this,”You said this is one of the best, but hardest years of your life. Why?” Shay replied with, “I think everybody feels it. And on social media, it is kinda stressful sometimes. You’re like, ‘Am I doing enough? Am I not doing too much? You know?
To have that time to just sort of break and take like a little mental break I think is super important. So, I definitely need to do more of that next year. But, it really was such an amazing year. I had so many great things happen and especially for my friends too. So, it was good and bad you know?”
Lastly, E! News asked Shay about her new travel line she started. Shay said of her new travel line, “I’m so excited, honestly. This is one of the most exciting things that has ever happened in my career because it’s something I’m so, so passionate about. It’s called, “BÉIS.” And from all my travels, I really do feel like I’ve had enough experience now to know exactly what I need, and I selfishly created a line for myself. Then decided to share it, and now here we go!”

So, it looks like Shay Mitchell is pretty stoked about the new “Perfectionists” spin off. Currently, we haven’t heard any news about her possibly appearing in it, but we definitely think that’s a possibility later on in the future.
As previously reported, The Perfectionists is currently filming their first ten episodes for Freeform. We’re still waiting on an official premiere date announcement. However, we have heard that it will probably debut around March 2019 sometime. So, we’ll see.

I just wish that if Emily will be in the new ppl show but it is up to her but I want to see the babyes that Emily and Alison make in last year so that will be good to see again
