New American Idol April 1, 2024 Showstoppers Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “American Idol” fans. We’re back on here to let you know that ABC is serving up another new, Monday edition of American Idol tonight, April 1, 2024. That’s right, guys. This is the 7th episode of this current season 22, and we’ve got some new preview intel for it.
ABC put out an official press release for tonight’s new episode 7. So, we will certainly take a look at it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
In tonight’s new episode 7, you guys are going to see what ABC is calling the Showstoppers portion of this season, and it will feature the final judgement to see who made it into the top 24. The celebrity judges: Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will all be on hand in this episode to make the very important decision of who moves through to the top 24. In the top 24, the contestants will then compete for America’s vote.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new, April 1, 2024 episode 7 of American Idol season 22 reads like this, “American Idol: Showstopper/Final Judgment. The competition narrows during the final showcase round for judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, deciding who will earn a coveted spot in the Top 24 and compete for America’s vote. Ryan Seacrest hosts.”
According to the folks over at MJSbigblog.com, 57 contestants made it through to tonight’s Showstoppers round. So, another 33 contestants will get sent home in tonight’s new episode.
ABC’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 7 of American Idol’s current season 22 is indeed scheduled to make its way to the air tonight, April 1, 2024, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will be another 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
