‘Hot Tub Time Machine’ Movie Delivered Lots Of Laughs & A Crazy Storyline
‘Hot Tub Time Machine’ movie delivered lots of laughs & a crazy storyline. MGM released their new,crazy comedy flick this weekend entitled, “Hot Tub Time Machine,” and I must say that it was quite funny. Heck, the title alone makes me laugh my ass off. The storyline was so crazy and unbelievable that I had no choice but to laugh. It stars: John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Crispin Glover, Lizzy Caplan, Chevy Chase, Sebastian Stan, Lyndsy Fonseca, Collette Wolfe, Charlie McDermott, and Kellee Stewart.
“Hot Tub Time Machine” revolved around four guys who’s lives were mediocre at best. They eventually decide to take a trip back to their old high school hangout,but things are still boring until they decide to take a dip in the hot tub,and get drunk. When they wake up and walk around for a little while, they realize it’s not 2010 anymore. It’s 1986 and the hot tub they were in, was no ordinary hot tub. It was a “Hot Tub Time Machine.”
They agree to do everything the same as they did when they were younger so that they wouldn’t mess up the future. Some of the events included: Adam (John Cusack) breaking up with his girlfriend and getting stabbed with a fork, Lou (Rob Corddry) getting the crap beat out off him by a bully,Nick (Craig Robinson) having sex with a groupie,and Jacob (Clark Duke) just wanted to make sure he still existed since he wasn’t born yet.
However, they venture off the script,and start doing some things differently. In the process, they learn lessons about themselves that end up changing their future. The movie is filled with tons of laughs. Crispin Glover from “Back To The Future” plays a funny one-armed man in the movie. It was hilarious. Chevy Chase played a mysterious hot tub repairman who could never give a straight answer,and was always talking in riddles. Rob Corddry did a real good job playing the wild “Lou” character who couldn’t stop getting into trouble. The storyline was really crazy, and kept me laughing the whole time. “Hot Tub Time Machine” is definitely a good and unique comedy to checkout in theaters right now.
