Fortnite Video Game Just Received Some New, Very Important Updates,Characters And More

Hey, “Fortnite” fans. We’ve got a new very important report for you guys. It turns out that your favorite video game “Fortnite: Battel Royale” just received some content updates, and is about to receive another one tomorrow, May 25, 2018.

According to some new reports from Variety.com and Gamespot.com, Epic Games just released the v4.2 content update which features the jetpack legendary item which can be found in the treasure chests. It’s supposed to give you guys additional mobility by letting you fly for a limited time.

It’ll recharge when it’s not being used. Unfortunately, players won’t be able to enter targeting mode while flying in the air. Epic Games said Using that mode on a controller will trigger the jetpack.

Jetpacks are part of a brand new item type called Backpacks. Unlike Back Bling, Backpacks are strictly gameplay items which means they cannot be purchased as cosmetics. They take up an inventory slot just like a weapon or a consumable. That means only one can be worn at a time. If you try to get a second one, it’ll just replace the one you already have. Also, when a Backpack is fully used up, it will automatically be destroyed.

The jetpack option was first announced way back in February 2018. However,Epic Games decided they needed to delay its release after stumbling upon a last minute design issue. At the time, they decided to just release a new hunting rifle instead.

According to Gamespot, the jetpacks are currently available on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and iOS platforms. They did make note that the jetpacks are definitely a limited item and won’t be around for long. It’s currently unclear how long they’ll be around. Gamespot pointed out that you’ll need to be quite lucky to get your hands on one too since they’re only found in the treasure chests.

The jetpacks are activated by pressing the jump button while in the air. However, you will only be able to stay airborne for a limited time before you have to recharge it. Again, the jetpacks will immediately begin recharging automatically when it is not being used.

Epic Games has also started a new limited-time event in Battle Royale. It’s called Solid Gold v2. The only weapons it features are of the Legendary ones. They’re about to start up another limited time mode which is called “Close Encounters.” It’s set to launch tomorrow, Friday, May 25, 2018. In this mode, you guys will get access to shotguns and jetpacks. Also, the storm will start moving in faster than it normally does.

Additionally, the Fortnite PvE mode, “Save the World,” just recently added a new Outlander Hero named Archaeolo-Jess. She was made available just yesterday, May 23, 2018 in the Event Store.
