New ‘Riverdale’ Season 3 Premiere Date Finally Revealed By The CW

New ‘Riverdale’ Season 3 Premiere Date Finally Revealed By The CW

Happy Friday “Riverdale” fans. We’ve got some exciting news for you guys today as the CW recently, finally revealed their Fall season premiere dates for all of their shows which of course includes “Riverdale!”

So, with no further ado, we’re just going to cut to the chase and let you guys know when you can expect your favorite show to return with all, brand new season 3 episodes. Mark your calendars for Wednesday night,October 10, 2018 at 7 pm central standard time. That is when the new season 3 is scheduled to make its huge and highly anticipated debut. It will be paired up with a new show that the CW is premiering called, “All American” which will air in the 8 pm central time slot.

Currently, it hasn’t been announced exactly how many episodes the new Riverdale season 3 will feature. However, since the show is premiering in the Fall again, we’re guessing that The CW ordered at least another 22 episodes full season. We’ll have to wait for the official announcement to definitely confirm that. I think that’s a good, educated guess though.

As previously reported, we’re expecting to see Riverdale feature more of a Sin City vibe in season 3 since Veronica’s shady father Hiram Lodge has basically taken over the whole town. There’s going to be some possible conflict to arise between the four core characters Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead when Archie goes to jail.

The show’s producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa recently told Entertainment Weekly,”In a weird way, Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead. They’re so different they shouldn’t be friends, really. They’re all such different archetypes as we’ve talked about and dramatized a bunch. Archie is like the every man glue that holds them together. He’s friends with Jughead, he’s friends with Betty, he’s dating Veronica.

Jughead and Veronica don’t necessarily have a friendship. It feels like their friendship grows out of Archie. So, the idea of Archie being thrust into a situation that potentially takes him away from the core four does threaten the integrity of the core four. Veronica and Hiram ended the season at odds. I don’t think this is going to help that at all. It is going to set up a big central conflict in season 3.”

We also might see the rest of Jughead’s family show up on the scene at some point. So, look for possible appearances from Jugehead’s sister Jellybean and mother Gladys Jones. We’ve also gotten confirmation that Betty’s weird as hell brother Chic Blossom will be showing back up on the scene as well in season 3.

Now, most recently, we’re hearing from the folks over at TV Guide revealed that Hiram Lodge won’t be the only big bad for season 3. Apparently, they got to speak with the producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and he told them, “”Hiram is definitely, definitely, definitely one of our big bads. Riverdale is a small town, but a big place.” Roberto refused to give away more information than those very vague teases. So, we’ll have to wait until a later date to find out who these other big bads might be.

In addition to Riverdale’s season 3 premiere, we’ve got premiere dates for the rest of The CW’s TV shows.
