New Fortnite Season 7 Major Super Powers Weapon Officially Released. Plus, It’s Location
Hey, Fortnite fans. We are back at you again with another amazing reveal for the current 7th season of Fortnite. Yesterday, we told you guys that Fortnite was about to unleash a new sword weapon into the mix. However,at that time, we were unaware of exactly when Epic Games would introduce it. Well now, we can wonder no more!
According to the folks over at Forbes.com , the new sword weapon is now very active in the game, and it gives anyone holding it some major super powers! That’s right guys. If you get a hold of this freaking sword, you are going to kick some major butt. There’s no doubt about it. And get this, the people at Forbes,com spit out directions on where to find it!
Before we give you guys the directions to this amazing sword, let’s go over all the things they said it does because it is quite amazing to say the least. They say this new sword is available in the Fortnite: Battle Royale version. They say it’s actually called the Infinity Blade, and it actually transforms whoever is wielding it into a “supercharged death machine.” They say the Infinity Blade was originally introduced in Epic Games’ Infinity Blade series. Now, it’s part of Fortnite: Battle Royale.
They explained that the Infinity Blade is not limited to its own mode. It shows up in all the regular modes for a limited time. Also, it always spawns in the same place where the Infinity Gauntlet dropped randomly.
Alright, now here’s the fun part. They explained exactly where you need to go to get this crazy, insane weapon. To start off, you’ll need to head on over to the castle at Polar Peak. It will be sitting in a pedestal in the courtyard area. They pointed out that the peak has melted a little bit since last week. Since it has melted a bit, the cast is poking through even if the map doesn’t show it yet. You guys can view the map over on Forbes.com’s website by Clicking Here.
Next,Forbes.com pointed out that the courtyard area should be pretty hard to miss once you get in the general vicinity. Along with that, they said this area will be quite wild and insane right now because everyone is trying to get their hands on this super powered sword. It takes about 5 seconds or so to actually pick up the sword. The first stage of a match will feature people wildly pickaxing each other right on top of the pedestal until there’s nobody left to pickaxe.
If you are lucky enough to get your hands on the infinity blade, it’s going to give you increased speed, health, shields and regeneration on kills along with powerful new attacks! One very important thing you’ll need to be aware of is that all these increased abilities will paint a great,big target on your back. Yes,you will become the biggest target in the game. So, just be prepared for that.
If you see somebody with this sword, you might want to keep out of their way until you find a way to get it from them.
Some additional information from Polygon.com reveals that the Infinity Blade will only spawn once per match at the top of the Polar Peak. The player who gets it can’t use any other weapon but the sword. Also, their entire inventory is dropped, putting them at an extreme range disadvantage. If a player who has the sword dies, it’s dropped on the ground for another player to pick it up.
It’s reported that this sword could be a total game changer for whoever wields it. Polygon pointed out all the powerful features of the Infinity Blade.
The first one is “Primary Fire.” It delivers a powerful sword slash which causes major damage to enemies and destroys structures in one blow (75 damage to players).
Second,is “alternate fire.” It gives players the power to leap great distances and destroy objects in their path. Upon landing, it delivers damage and a knock-up to nearby players (25 damage).
Third, it gives an increased pool of max Health and Shields (200 Health/200 Shields). Fourth, it gives a regeneration of effective Health over time up to max Health and Shields (1 HP per second). 5th, it will give an instant burst of effective Health upon elimination of an enemy (50 HP). 6th, it will give increased movement speed (130%).
Some very important additional notes for the Infinity Blade are: The first player to pull the Infinity Blade from its pedestal will be instantly healed to full Health and Shields. If a player picks up the Infinity Blade, all other inventory items aside from building materials will be dropped. The Infinity Blade will be dropped when the wielder is knocked out or eliminated.
