New ‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Worlds And Details Have Been Revealed
Happy Monday, “Kingdom Hearts” fans. We hope you guys had a great weekend. We’ve got some pretty interesting intel to share with you guys in this latest Kingdom Hearts report. It turns out that all the worlds that are going to be featured in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 have been revealed!
Thanks to the folks over at hardcoregamer.com, we’re going to be able to give you guys the skinny on them right now. The first Kingdom Heart 3 world that hardcoregamer mentioned is the 100 Acre Wood. Sora will once again make his way to the 100 Acre Wood. Currently, it is unknown how he gets there this time.
However, it’s likely that he arrived through the storybook which has appeared in almost every game. Sora will be traveling with Pooh Bear, Tigger, Rabbit and the rest of the crew, including a newcomer named Lumpy. The 100 Acre Wood features various minigames.
The second world is Arendelle. It first appeared in the 2013 “Frozen” Disney flick. It will, of course, follow the plot of the movie. Queen Elsa has run off, and she accidentally sent the kingdom into winter. Sora, Donald and Goofy will team up with Princess Anna and Kristoff to bring Elsa back and set things right. Players will have to make their way across snowy areas on both foot and Goofy’s shield while trying to reach Elsa’s castle.
Sora, Donald and Goofy will interact with Anna, Kristoff, Elsa, Olaf and Sven in the world. However, none of them will join the party. Players will have to battle head to head with Larxene as he attempts to capture Elsa’s power for Master Xehanort.
Next up is Destiny Islands. It first appeared in the original Kingdom Hearts way, way back in 2002. It’s the homeland for Sora, Riku and Xehanort. Also, it’s the adopted homeland of Kairi. It’s speculated from the Kingdom Hearts 3 trailers that Kairi and Lea will return to Destiny Island to get some extra training work in. Currently,it is not yet known if any actual gameplay will take place on Destiny Islands.
The 4th world is the Disney Castle. It is, of course, is the homeworld of King Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. It premiered in the original Kingdom Hearts video game. However, it wasn’t made a playable location until Kingdom Hearts 2. It’s not yet known if it will be playable in Kingdom Hearts 3. We do know that Queen Minnie, Chip, Dale, and Daisy are currently living in Disney Castle.
The 5th world is “Kingdom of Corona.” It first appeared in the 2010 Tangled movie. It will follow the plot that was featured in the movie. Both Rapunzel and Flynn will join the party as guest characters. The party goes up against character Mother Gothel, who is the film’s main antagonist. They will also face off against Marluxia.
The 6th world is the “Land of Departure.” It first appeared in “Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep” back in 2010. It’s the training ground for Keyblade wielders and was destroyed during the events of Birth By Sleep. It’s believed this world will be featured mostly in flashbacks for Kingdom Hearts 3 and not be playable.
The 7th world is Monstropolis. It first appeared in the Monster’s Inc movie back in 2001. This world will also follow the plot of the movie. Both Sully and Mike join the party as guest characters. They will face off against character Randall who wants to replace Sully as the top scarer. They will also battle character Vanitas who wants to reclaim Ventus’ heart which resides in Sora.
The 8th world is the Mysterious Tower. It first showed up in Kingdom Hearts back in 2005. It’s a small piece of land with a tower placed near the center. It will return as a gameplay area in Kingdom Hearts 3. It will also feature many cut scenes.
The 9th world is Olympus. It first appeared in the 1997 Hercules movie. It will be the first world that players visit in Kingdom Hearts 3. It will be a tutorial world. Hercules will join the party as a guest character.
The 10th world is the “Radiant Garden.” It first appeared in the original Kingdom Hearts game back in 2002. It’s believed it will be featured in cut scenes, and it’s not yet known if it will be playable in Kingdom Hearts 3.
The 11th world is “The Realm Of Darkness.” It also made its debut in the original Kingdom Hearts 2002 game. It’s comprised of worlds that have fallen into darkness. It’s reported that characters Riku and King Mickey will travel to the Realm Of Darkness to rescue character Aqua in Kingdom Hearts 3. It’s speculated that players will play as character Riku while in the Realm of Darkness.
The 12th world is San Fransokyo. It made its first appearance in the Big Hero 6 movie back in 2014. Baymax will join the party as a guest character in Kingdom Hearts 3, and it’s speculated that he will be the main antagonist of this world.
The 13th world is “The Carribbean.” It was ,of course, first featured in the popular “Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl” movie back in 2003. It will follow the story from the “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” movie. Characters Sora, Donald, and Goofy will help Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann and Hector Barbossa rescue Jack and explore the Caribbean to defeat Jones. The world will feature naval combat and underwater gameplay.
Character Captain Jack Sparrow will join the party as a guest character. Players will face off against enemies Davy Jones and Luxord.
The 14th world is Toy Box. It first appeared in the 1995 “Toy Story” movie. It will feature events that happened between the events of Toy Story 2 and 3. Characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear will join the party as guest characters. Also, Players will face off against Young Xehanort.
Lastly, The 15th world is “Twilight Town.” It first showed up in “Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories” back in 2004. It will be an introductory world in Kingdom Hearts 3. However, players will likely travel to it numerous times throughout the story. Sora will also meet Remy there, who the protagonist of Ratatouille.
Hardcoregamer.com noted that there are a couple of other worlds that were shown in the trailer that they don’t have names for. So, players should expect to see a couple of other worlds that are not on this list. As previously reported, Kingdom Hearts 3 is still scheduled to release on January 29,2019 for the Playstation 4 and XBOX One video game consoles.
