New ‘Pokemon Go’ June 2019 Community Day To Feature Slakoth Pokemon, Bonuses & More

Hey, Pokemon Go fans. We’ve got some exciting news for you guys. It’s that time again. It’s time for the new Pokemon Go Community Day Event for June 2019! According to the folks over at Gamespot.com, the event is taking place very early this month. Like tomorrow early.

That’s right, guys. The brand new Community Day for Pokemon Go is going down tomorrow, Saturday June 8, 2019.

Tomorrow’s big Community is going to feature the Slakoth Pokemon, which according to its official Wikia page, is a normal type Pokemon. It has pale brown, cream-colored fur, two toes on its feet, lazy eyes, a small tuft of fur on the top of its head, a lazy smile, a pig-like nose, two dark brown stripes on its back and two small tufts of fur on its back.

The Slakoth Pokemon evolves into Vigoroth at level 18. At level 36, it evolves into Slaking. Since he’s featured at this Community Day, he will appear in the wild more frequently than normal throughout the entire event.

Also, if you guys can somehow get the Slakoth Pokemon to evolve to its final Slaking form before the Community Day event is over, it will automatically learn the powerful Normal-type move Body Slam.

Players will have up to a full hour after the event is over to acquire the special Body Slam move. Even if players captured the Slaking’s previous forms outside the times of the event, any Slaking will be capable of learning the special move. It just needs to be a Slaking before the event is over.

Like always, the June 2019 Community Day event is scheduled to take place from 3 pm to 6 pm in any time zone you are located in. That, of course, makes it much easier for everyone to remember the start and ending times. The game’s developer Niantic came up with those designated times back in March 2019. So, give them a hand clap for that.

Now for the bonuses. Yes, there will indeed be some bonuses featured at this June 2019 Community Day event. For starters, Pokemon Eggs will hatch at a quarter of their usual distance during the event. This will give players the chance to hatch Pokemon a lot more faster than they normally would. So, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of that.

The other bonus is that any Lure modules you use will last three hours as apposed to just 30 minutes like they usually do.

How do you guys feel about June 2019 Community Day’s featured Pokemon and bonuses? Are you happy about it? Are you sad? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the comments section.
