New Pokemon Go March 2019 Community Day Date, Player Bonuses And More Revealed

Hey, Pokemon Go fans. It’s that time again where we let you guys know when the next Pokemon Go Community Day event will be taking place along with the special Pokemon that will be featured for the event. We’ve also got a list of bonuses that will be given out during this event.

According to the folks over at Gamespot.com , Pokemon Go’s developer Niantic revealed that the March 2019 Community day is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 23, 2019. It’s only going to run for three, short hours. As for the times it will take place, Niantic has decided to do something very different this time to make it easier for everyone in all regions of the world to understand.

Instead of them setting different times for each region of the world, they’ve decided to make the Community Day event hours universal! That’s right, guys. The March 2019 Community Day hours will indeed be the same for all players around the world.

Those hours will be 3 pm to 6 pm local time for that specific area. So, regardless of where you are in the world, the Community Day 2019 event will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm. That’s all you need to know in regards to the times. Be sure to mark down that very important date on your event calendars if you have one.

Next, we’re going to go over the special Pokemon that will be featured in the Community Day 2019 event. That Pokemon will be none other than the Gen 3 Grass-type starter, Treecko! That’s right, guys. Throughout the entire Community Day 2019 event, Treecko will spawn more frequently in the wild than it normally does. It’s presumed based on previous Community Day events that players will also have a chance of finding a Shiny Treecko.

Gamespot.com went on to point out that players who manage to fully evolve Treecko into its final form Sceptile up to an hour after the Community Day ends, it’ll know a special event-exclusive move that it wouldn’t normally learn in Pokemon Go. Currently, Niantic hasn’t revealed exactly what this special move will be. However, Gamespot pointed out that previous Grass Pokemon that have been featured during Community Days all learned Frenzy Plant. So, we’ll have to wait and see if that is what plays out in March 2019.

The People over at pokemongohub.net revealed some additional info about the featured Pokemon and bonuses for the March 2019 Community Day event. They say Treecko first evolves into Grovyle and then into Sceptile. The bonuses and rewards will feature: Increased Treecko Spawns, 3-hour Lure Modules and 4× Incubator Effectiveness.
