America’s Got Talent August 21, 2019 Eliminated 5 Quarterfinals 2 Acts (Recap)

Hey, “America’s Got Talent” fans. Tonight, August 21, 2019, another elimination show did indeed air for the Quarterfinals round 2 performances, and 5 acts were sent packing. The judges: Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell were all on hand for tonight’s live results.

Tonight’s LIVE elimination show kicked off with a preview of all the acts that performed last night for America’s votes. Host Terry Crews got right down to business by revealing which acts landed in the 6th, 7th and 8th place positions this week.

Those acts turned out to be: Charlotte Summers, Chris Klafford and Ndlovu Youth Choir. That means those three acts were subjected to the LIVE Dunkin’ Save vote tonight.

Next, Terry revealed that Joseph Allen was eliminated, and Tyler Butler made it through to the semifinals. Simon gave Joseph encouraging words saying, “You have a God given gift.”

Next, Terry revealed that V. Unbeatable advanced to the semifinals, and “The Sentimentals were eliminated. Right after that, it was revealed that the Light Balance kids made it through to the semifinals.

Robert Finley also made it to the semifinals. Unfortunately for Nick and Lindsey, they were eliminated.

Next, former Britain’s Got Talent superstar Susan Boyle arrived on stage to do a special performance of her Britain’s Got Talent audition song, “I Dreamed a Dream” by Les Miserables.

Shortly after Susan Boyle’s performance, Terry revealed that Ryan Niemiller is through to the semifinals. Meanwhile, it was also revealed that Marina Mazepa was unfortunately eliminated from the competition. Simon told Ryan, “Your fate is all in his hands.”

After that, they revealed who won the LIVE Dunkin’ Save vote between the 6th, 7th and 8th place vote getters: Charlotte Summers, Chris Klafford and Ndlovu Youth Choir.

Terry revealed that Chris Klafford won it. So, Chris will advance to the semifinals. Unfortunately, this also meant that Charlotte Summers and Ndlovu Youth Choir were still in extreme jeopardy if they didn’t get the judge’s “save.”

Eventually, they revealed that judge Gabrielle Union voted to keep the Ndlovu Youth Choir. Julianne Hough voted to keep Charlotte Summers. Simon Cowell voted to keep the Ndlovu Youth Choir and Howie Mandel voted to keep Charlotte Summers.

So, it was a tie. That meant the act that had the most votes between the two of them from America last night would advance to the semifinals.

After they tallied it all up, it was revealed that the Ndlovu Youth Choir had more votes. So, they advanced to the semifinals, and poor Charlotte Summers was eliminated.

So, to sum everything up, the 7 acts that made it through to the semifinals tonight are: Tyler Butler-Figueroa, V. Unbeatable, Light Balance Kids, Robert Finley, Ryan Niemiller, Chris Klafford via the Dunkin’ Save LIVE vote and the Ndlovu Youth Choir via the judges’ “save.”

The five unfortunate acts that were eliminated tonight are: Joseph Allen, The Sentimentalists, Nick and Lindsay, Marina Mazepa and Charlotte Summers.
