Hey, “Prodigal Son” fans. We’re going to cut right to the chase with you guys. We’ve got some bad news. It turns out that FOX will not be airing the next, new episode 11 of the Prodigal Son tonight, December 9, 2019.

Apparently, the last episode 10 was indeed the last episode for the Fall. In other words, it was the Fall finale episode. We do know when episode 11 will air.

It’s currently scheduled to air on Monday night, January 20, 2020 in its same 8 pm central standard time slot on FOX of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your Prodigal Son itinerary as soon as possible.

What will FOX air in place of The Prodigal Son tonight? According to the TV Guide listings, FOX will be airing a new zitcom called, “The Moodys.” It’s the 2nd episode of its first season.

FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “Christmas caroling is a Moody tradition that Sean Sr. does not take lightly. However, when an unexpected guest shows up to the Moody house, caroling takes a hilariously embarrassing turn.

Then, Sean Jr. finally agrees to join Sean Sr.’s Moody Heating and AC business, but trouble ensues when a rival company infringes on their territory. Meanwhile, Bridget finds someone in whom to confide, while Dan struggles with the guilt of being interested in cousin Marco’s girlfriend, Cora.”

Then next Monday night, December 16, 2019, FOX will air a repeat episode of the Prodigal Son. It will be the 3rd episode of season 1. That episode is titled, “Fear Response.”

FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “Malcolm gets his dream interview opportunity when the NYPD zeroes in on one of his and Martin’s favorite psychologists, Dr. Elaine Brown, who may be involved in a homicide linked to an LSD-laced psychology trial.

Meanwhile, as his night terrors continue to evolve, Malcolm checks in with his trusted childhood therapist to discuss new theories on what exactly he witnessed as a child; and the consequences Gil, Jessica and Ainsley learn that he has been seeing his father again.”

Beyond that, more repeat episodes of The Prodigal Son are scheduled to air. If that line of programming sounds good to you, you might still want to tune in to FOX. If not, you’ll certainly want to find something else to watch or do for the next couple of weeks.
