Dancing With The Stars November 23, 2020 Winner Of The Season Revealed (Recap)

Hey, “Dancing With The Stars” fans. Tonight, November 23, 2020, the big, LIVE finale episode of Dancing With The Stars 29th season did indeed air. The judges: Derek Hough, Carrie Anne Inaba and Bruno Tonioli were indeed on hand again.

Tonight’s finale kicked off with more performance rounds. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev hit the stage first to knock out a Argentine Tango routine.

Afterwards, Derek said, “It was a perfect dance to show why you belong in the finals.” Bruno said, “I’m panting because you took my breath away, and your details were even better this time around.”

Carrie Ann said, “I’m glad you picked this dance style to repeat, and it’s now one of my top three favorite dances of all time.”

Carrie Ann gave Kaitlyn & Artem a perfect 10 score, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a total of 30 points out of a possible 30 points. So, it was a perfect score!

Next, Nelly and Daniella Karagach served up Samba number. Afterwards, Bruno said, “You are natural and spontaneous, but with a couple of technical issues.”

Carrie Ann said, “Your journey has been the most fascinating, and you show that dance is about more than technique. It’s also about joy.” Derek said, “Dancing is about moments and not just technique.”

Carrie Ann gave Nelly & Daniella a 9 score, Derek a 9, Bruno a 9 for a total of 27 points.

Nev Schulman and Jenna Johnson danced a Paso Doble routine. Afterwards,Carrie Ann said, “It was perfection the first time, and it was perfection again this time. I trust you to be technically and artistically amazing every time.”

Derek said, “I loved the change at the start of the routine, and it was a beautiful performance.” Bruno said, “You created even more dramatic structure in the routine the second time around.”

Carrie Ann gave Nev & Jenna a perfect 10 score, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 30 score!

Justina Machado and Sasha Farber hit the stage next with a Cha Cha dance. Afterwards, Derek said, “You were exploding with passion and excitement.” Bruno said, “You know how to shake those tail feathers. You were almost too hot to trot tonight.” Carrie Ann said, “You light the floor on fire every time you get on the stage.”

Carrie Ann gave Justina a perfect 10 score, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a total of 30 points.

Next, Derek hit the stage to perform a special dance number.

Shortly after that, Nelly and Daniella Karagach performed a Freestyle routine. Afterwards, Bruno said, “The opening tableau put them in the presence of hip-hop royalty, which was pitched just right for you.”

Carrie Ann said, “I love the partnership between you two, and I love the choreography that combined hip-hop with Latin and ballroom.” Derek said, “I loved the closing lift where you were wearing her as headphones without holding on to her at all.”

Carrie Ann gave Nelly a perfect 10 score, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 30 score!

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev rocked out a Freestyle routine. Afterwards, Carrie Ann said, “You met my high expectations since Moulin Rouge is my favorite movie.” Derek said,”It was well done.” Bruno said, “You captured the spirit of Baz Luhrmann while packing it full of choreographic content.”

Carrie Ann gave Kaitlyn & Artem a perfect 10 score, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 30 score.

Nev Schulman and Jenna Johnson danced their Freestyle next. Afterwards, Derek said, “It takes a true leading man to sell ‘Singin’ in the Rain,’ and you succeeded.”

Bruno said, “The routine aimed very high, but it succeeded. It was showstopping and inspired.” Carrie Ann said, “It was a few routines in one, and you are an incredible performer with a magical partnership with Jenna.”

Carrie Ann gave Nev & Jenna a perfect 10 score, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 30 score.

Justina Machado and Sasha Farber did their Freestyle routine next. It was the last performance of the night.

Afterwards, Bruno said, “It was a tonic for your soul.” Carrie Ann said, “I loved the dance and the message of it celebrating you and your culture.” Derek said, “I couldn’t think of a better freestyle to finish off the season.”

Carrie Ann gave Justina & Sasha a perfect 10 score, Derek a 10, Bruno a 10 for a perfect 30 score!

Next, they finally revealed who won this friggin season. They started by revealing that Justina & Sasha landed in 4th place. Nelly & Daniella took the 3rd place spot.

After that, they revealed that Kaitlyn & Artem won! That means Nev & Jenna were the runner ups aka second place.

So, much congrats to Kaitlyn Bristowe & Artem Chigvintsev. That makes two former Bachelorette’s that have won this show. The last one was Hannah Brown last year. Those Bachelorette’s do have a lot of fans. The Bachelor Nationn fandom is real and a force to be reckoned with.
