Hey, “Magnum P.I.” fans. Unfortunately, you’re not going to like the news we have for you in this article. It turns out that your favorite CBS drama Magnum PI has hit a wall of delay. That means CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 10 of Magnum PI’s current season 4 tonight, December 17, 2021.

That’s right, guys. Magnum PI will be MIA (missing in action) tonight and a couple of more Friday nights because it’s in the midst of a long, 3-week delay. CBS has informed us that they plan to air the new episode 10 on Friday night,January 7, 2022 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to memorize that very important date and time.

We did find out what CBS will be airing in Magnum PI’s place ,tonight, and next Friday night. According to the TV guide listings, CBS is going to air and episode of, “The Greatest #AtHome Videos” tonight. This will be episode 6 of its second season 2 titled,”Home Videos for the Holidays.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Actor Anthony Anderson shares his favorite viral dancing videos; Shaquille O’Neal surprises with a Zoom call.”

Next Friday night, December 24,2021, CBS is going to air a special called, “Kenny Rogers: All in for the Gambler.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “A concert special filmed before Rogers’ untimely passing, featuring performances by Chris Stapleton, Idina Menzel, Lady A, Lionel Richie; Dolly Parton performs a series of songs that culminate in an emotional finale featuring Rogers himself.”

After the December 24, 2021 date, you will need to check your local listings to see what CBS has planned out for Friday night, December 31, 2021.

If any of you guys find this alternate line of programming enticing at all, you might still want to watch CBS during this extended, 3-week delay. If this alternate line of programming isn’t your cup of tea, you will most certainly want to avoid CBS on Friday nights until the January 7, 2022 date gets here.

Spoiler Warning: With all of that said, we did track down some official, new teaser descriptions for the next, new episode 10 of Magnum PI’s current season 4 from CBS’ official episode 10 press release. So, we’re going to run those by you right now.

First thing’s first. CBS revealed that this new episode 10 is officially titled, “Dream Lover.” It sounds like episode 10 will feature some very interesting, possible scandalous, dramatic, action-filled and emotional scenes.

CBS’ official description for episode 10 reads like this,”When a woman hires Magnum and Higgins to locate a man she met briefly at a coffee shop and felt a spark with, they learn that he is hiding a big secret. Also, Higgins keeps a secret of her own after she has a romantic dream about Magnum on the CBS Original series MAGNUM P.I.”

Episode 10 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Michael Camp as character (Jared Friedman), Kelly Mumme as character (Lindsey), Brooke Nevin as character (Emily Pratt), Logan Donovan as character (Mason Adams), Nathan Hurd as character (Mikal Cisco), Josh Stamberg as character (Shane Whelan), Liam McNeill as character (Lawyer) and Raleigh Tabora as character (Server).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 10 are: Jay Hernandez as character (Thomas Magnum), Perdita Weeks as character (Juliet Higgins), Zachary Knighton as character (Orville “Rick” Wright), Stephen Hill as character (Theodore “TC” Calvin), Tim Kang as character (Det. Gordon Katsumoto) and Amy Hill as character (Kumu).

Episode 10 was written by David Wolkove, and it was directed by Avi Youabian.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 10 of Magnum PI’s current season 4 is scheduled to finally hit the air on Friday night, January 7, 2022 at approximately 8 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
