The Challenge USA October 12, 2023 Eliminated Cassidy & Josh (Recap)
Hey,”The Challenge USA” fans. Tonight, October 12, 2023, another new episode of The Challenge USA season 2 did indeed hit the air, and we saw another 2 more contestants get sent packing at the end of it.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the remaining contestants basically talking about how much it would mean to them to make the finals since this was the last episode before the finals. After all of that, host TJ Lavin show up to present the new, individual challenge. It was titled, “Burst Your Bubble.” TJ made it clear to them if they win this challenge, they’re automatically through to the finals.
The Burst Your Bubble challenge was a timed event. During it, they had to race up a rope ladder, which was 40 feet high. Then, race across a narrow balance beam to honk a horn for the completion. The contestant with the fastest time, won. TJ also told them that this is a double elimination round.
Michaela won for the women, and Chris won for the men. So, they were both safe from elimination in this round and automatically through to the finals. They also got to pick which man and woman to send to the elimination challenge.
Michaela and Chris ultimately nominated Faysal and Cassidy for elimination. Josh struggled with picking who to vote for in the secret vote. Tori did too. Josh told Johnny that he voted for him after swearing he wouldn’t. Johnny was pissed because Josh broke his word. He told Josh, “Your word means nothing to me anymore.”
At the elimination challenge, Cassidy and Faysal show up. Then, they revealed the secret vote results. Tori got 2 votes, Desi got 1 vote. Chanelle received 5 votes, Cory got 1 vote, Josh got 2 votes and Johnny got 5 votes. Those votes went into the ball hopper machine, and host TJ Lavin drew Chanelle and Josh’s names. So, Josh competed against Faysal, and Cassidy competed against Chanelle.
This elimination was a classic one titled, “Hall Brawl.” During it, they had to run into each other in a narrow hall with a padded shield. Then, they had to complete a puzzle for the win. Chanelle beat Cassidy, and Faysal beat Josh. So, Josh and Cassidy got eliminated in tonight’s new episode.
Cassidy told the private cams, “This wasn’t the way I wanted to go out, but this just motivates me to train harder in the future.” Josh told the private cams, “I’m just disappointed in myself. Turning on Johnny is the worst thing I could’ve done. I guess this is my karma. I’m happy for Faysal. He earned it. He’s a beast.”
