The Amazing Race October 25, 2023 Eliminated Ian & Joe (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, October 23, 2023, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 35 did hit the air, and another unlucky team did get sent packing at the end of it for not quite being fast enough.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with the remaining teams learning they had to fly from Vietnam to India to get their next clue. When they arrived in India, they had to hit up a city nicknamed Pink City, Jaipur. When they got to Jaipur, they had to take a taxi to Amber Palace.
When the teams arrived at the Amber Palace, they were given a task that required them to carry a bundle of sugarcane up to the palace courtyard to get their next clue. When the teams arrived at the palace courtyard, they were hit with a new Roadblock challenge, which required a member from each team to learn a short choreographed routine and perform it while balancing three pots on their head.
Once the teams successfully completed the Road block challenge, they had to head out to Panna Meena ka Kund to get their next clue. When they got there, they were given their detours for this leg of the race. They were able to pick either “All Dolled Up” detour or “The Big Picture” detour.
In the “All Dolled up” detour, the teams had to make two marionettes dolls and make them dance in a puppet show to get their next clue. In the “Big Picture” detour, the teams had to wear costumes and match characters in a piece of artwork to get their next clue. Ashlie and Todd had to switch detours because there were no more vacant stations at the Big Picture detour. So, that would certainly hurt their time in this race.
Once the teams successfully completed their detours, they were told to hit up Gatore Ki Chhatriyan, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race. Steve and Anna Leigh showed up in first place, and won $3,000 each. Greg & John took 2nd place. Joel and Garrett came in 3rd place. Malaina and Andrea claimed the 4th spot. Todd and Ashlie took 5th place.
Rob & Corey got 6th place. Robbin and Chelsea came in 7th. Liam and Yeremi took 8th place. Morgan and Lena got the very important 9th position to just narrowly escape being eleminated. So, poor Joe and Ian came in last place, and they were indeed eliminated from this Amazing Race season 35. Joe said, “I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than working with Ian in this race.” Ian reciprocated those thoughts.
