Legacies Spoilers For Season 2, October 10, 2019 Premiere Episode 1 Revealed
Hey, fellow “Legacies” fans. It’s almost time for the brand new season 2 to start. In light of that, we’re going to give you guys a very good idea of what’s going to take place in the very first, premiere episode 1.
Thanks to the lovely folks over at the CW, we’ve got a plethora of official storyline teasers to share with you guys via their episode 1 press release. So, we’re just going to jump right into it.
To get things started, we do have a title for the premiere episode 1. It’s labeled, “I’ll Never Give Up Hope.” I like how that title did a word play on Hope’s name.
Anyways, episode 1 sounds like it will feature a some very interesting scenes as Hope immediately tries to find her way back to Mystic Falls! Alaric investigates Malivore. Landon keeps an eye on Rafael. MG goes to Atlanta. Lizzie is away in Europe with Caroline. Josie hunts for more answers and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Hope situation. It turns out that Hope is going to quickly realize that there may be a way for her to get out of the Malivore pit.
In light of this, she will immediately begin working on a way to get back to Mystic Falls! CW’s official description tells us, “After discovering that there may be a way out of Malivore, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) becomes more determined than ever to find her way back to Mystic Falls.”
Will Hope make it back to Mystic Falls? If so, how long will it take her? Those are some very important questions for this particular plotline. Currently, we don’t have any other spoiler teasers beyond this first episode.
So, we will have to wait and see just how long Hope will be trapped in that Malivore pit, or until The CW releases a couple more press releases. Whichever comes first.
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Alaric will totally be on the outs as far as the school is concerned. Apparently, the honor council decided to vote him out of his headmaster position, and he will be reeling about it!
However, this bad turn of events will not stop Alaric from continuing to investigate the night Malivore was destroyed. CW’s description tells us, “Alaric (Matthew Davis), who is still reeling after being voted out as headmaster by the honor council, continues looking into the mysterious night Malivore was destroyed.”
What will Alaric discover during his continuing investigations? That’s a big question for this particular storyline. It sounds like this storyline could certainly deliver some very intriguing scenes to look forward to. So, look out for Alaric’s scenes in episode 1.
The 3rd spoiler teaser reveals that most of the students will decide to head out for a summer vacation. However, this won’t be the case for Landon. Oh, no, no, no. Instead, he will decide to stay at the school so he can keep a close eye on Rafael.
CW’s description tells us, “Elsewhere, as the students leave for summer vacation, Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) stays behind to keep an eye on Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith).”
This is no doubt due to the fact that poor Rafael is still stuck as werewolf. So, we imagine that Landon will want to make sure Rafael is safe while he’s in this state. The big question is how long will Landon remain a werewolf. We’re guessing he’ll probably have to wait until Hope finally makes it out of that friggin Malivore pit.
The 4th spoiler scoop reveals that MG won’t be staying back at the school. Nope, he will be headed out for a trip to Atlanta to spend time with Kaleb’s family. CW’s description tells us, “MG (Quincy Fouse) heads to Atlanta to spend time with Kaleb’s (guest star Chris Lee) family.”
Will we see any interesting developments with MG and Kaleb during this Atlanta trip? That’s a big question for this particular storyline.
The 5th spoiler teaser reveals that Lizzie will certainly not be back at the school to start off this second season. Nope, she’s apparently run off to Europe to spend time with Caroline. CW’s description tells us, “Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) spends the summer in Europe with Caroline.”
Will Lizzie learn anything new while over in Europe with Caroline. That’s a good question for her ongoing storyline. It’ll be interesting to see if we get any good scenes of her over there.
Lastly, this 6th spoiler scoop lets us know what Josie will be up to in the beginning of this second season. She will be very busy trying to find out more information about the mysterious ascendant that Alaric kept hidden from them.
CW’s description reads like this, “Josie (Kaylee Bryant) searches for answers about the mysterious ascendant that Alaric was keeping from them.”
Will Josie learn anything new? If so, what will she find out? Those are some very important questions for this storyline. There’s no doubt it will feature a bunch of intriguing scenes.
The CW also released a new preview clip for episode 1. The clip starts out with some close up scenes of Landon. Then we hear Alaric saying,”Who have we forgot? There’s somebody out there that doesn’t know what they’ve lost.”
After that, the clip cuts to a scene with Landon asking Josie, “Are you happy?” Josie says, “I just don’t know if I can be fully happy until I know that Lizzie and I are going to survive past the merge.”
Next, Lizzie is seen telling Josie, “I’m doing everything I can to get better.” Right after that, we get our first glimpse of Hope. She’s caught up in a very bright light. The clip caps off with Landon saying, “Never give up hope.” It all looks very, very interesting indeed.

The CW also released a couple of preview photos for episode 1. Landon and Josie are spotted having a good time together in a couple of the photos. So, expect to see them in a couple of the scenes together.
Lizzie is spotted in a couple of pics with both MG and Josie at separate times. So, she will have scenes with the both of them at some point.

Episode 1 was written by Brett Matthews and Julie Plec, and it was directed by Julie Plec. CW’s press release confirmed that episode 1 is indeed scheduled to air on Thursday night, October 10, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
