Legacies Season 2 Spoiler: Some Of ‘The Originals’ Might Show Up. New Details

Hey, fellow “Legacies” fans. We are back at you with some more, exciting news for the upcoming season 2! This time, it’s in regards to some of those Originals vampires that this show was spun off from.

It turns out that the Legacies’ Hope storyline might call for one or more of the Originals to show up on the scene at some point.

The folks over at TV Guide got to chit chat with Legacies main showrunner Julie Plec at the recent ATX Television Festival back in June 2019, and she revealed that they will definitely need to address some members of Hope’s family at some point due to the way Hope’s current storyline is shaping up.

Julie stated, “I think there’s going to be an opportunity this year to see some of the Originals. I don’t know who and I don’t know when, but the way that Hope’s (Danielle Rose Russell) storyline is shaping up, there’s definitely a link to the family that got left behind that we will have to address at a certain point. And it would be nice to see a familiar face.”

This new development definitely raises the question: if one or some of the Originals returns, which ones will it be? Is it Kol, Rebekah, maybe Freya? I loved Freya by the way. I would love to see her back.

Whatever the case, it sounds like that would sure make for a very interesting storyline. I’m sure more of this will be discussed when the cast and crew shows up at the 2019 Comic-Con event in San Diego later this month.

TV Guide also pointed out that there’s been chatter about possibly seeing an appearance by character Caroline Forbes. She’s the one who carried Lizzie and Josie to full term so to speak after they were magically transferred to her womb.

Julie Pec spoke on this Caroline Forbes possibility. Apparently, Julie definitely would love to see Caroline’s portrayer Candice Accola back on set to reprise her role.

Right now, it’s just a matter of finding a good enough storyline to entice Candice to want to return.

Julie explained, “The desire to see Caroline Forbes on Legacies remains strong. The invitation remains open and the welcome would be warm. So honestly, it’s just a matter of finding the right story and the right opportunity for Candice to want to come back and play in the sandbox a little.”

So, only time will tell with that whole Caroline Forbes situation at the moment. It does stand to reason that the longer “Legacies” is on the air, the greater the possibility it is that we could see a lot cameos from characters of both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.

We’ve already seen appearances from Jeremy and Jo. Jo was the original mother of Lizzy and Josie before they got transferred to Caroline.

Anyways,I think it’s just a matter of time before we start seeing cameos from some the Vampire Diaries and Originals characters.

As previously reported, there’s going to be a new, ancient vampire showing up in Legacies season 2. However, he will look like he’s only 17 years old. We’ve also learned that Hope will be trying to make her way back from that mud hole from Hell, but it’s sure gonna be tough.

Poor Rafael is going to be stuck in werewolf form and God only knows what else is in store at this point. We’ll just have to wait and see. More spoilers will be popping up soon. I’m sure of it.
