The Challenge USA August 3, 2022 Eliminated Cinco Holland Jr. & Azah Awasum (Recap)
Hey, “The Challenge USA” fans. Earlier tonight, August 3, 2022, another new episode of The Challenge USA’s current season 1 did hit the air, and another unlucky pair of contestants did get the boot at the end.
Tonight’s episode kicked off with another switching of partners via the algorithm. Danny McCray got paired up with Angela Rummons. Derek Xiao with Cayla Platt. David Alexander with Alyssa Lopez. Tyson Apostol with Cashay Proudfoot. Enzo Palumbo with Kyra Green. Kyland Young with Shannon St. Clair. Domenick Abbate with Desi Williams. Cinco Holland Jr. with Azah Awasum. Ben Driebergen with Justine Ndiba and Leo Temory with Sarah Lacina.
Cashay and Cinco were spotted talking. Cashay told Cinco, “You’ve done things that hurt my feelings like watching you flirt with other women.” Cinco said, “This conversation is weird for me after not talking with you for two days.” Cashay said, “At the end of the day, you’re single. You can do whatever you want. I just don’t know how to move with you.”
Sarah was seen telling Tyson, “You have my 100 percent trust.” Tyson told the private cams, “I need to support Sarah and Leo. They could help me win.”
After all of that, host TJ Lavin showed up with a new challenge, which was titled, “Barreled Treasure.” During it, the contestants had to swim 150 yards to some buoys and remember a code that was on them. Then, they had to swim some more and search for their code that was located on the lids of some barrels that were on a cargo ship.
From there, they had to take the lids off those barrels to get some puzzle pieces. They had to do this for two laps. After completing that second lap, they had to piece their puzzle together to complete the challenge.
Apparently, Cashay couldn’t swim and Tyson had to drag her. So, we got footage of Tyson telling the private cams, “Cashay is making us lose a ton of time to the point that could put us in last place.”
Cinco told the private cams, “Aza is doing her best, but it’s just not enough. Hopefully, we won’t be last.” Leo also couldn’t swim. So, he had to latch onto Sarah as she swam through the water.
When it was all wrapped up, Tyson turned out to be such a strong partner that he and Cashay were still able to pull out the victory and claim first place. They won $10,000, and they got to pick who went up against the last place team in the elimination challenge. The last place team turned out to be Cinco and Aza. Aza really slowed up Cinco by constantly getting exhausted.
Cinco and Aza talked with Tyson and Cashay about who they wanted to go against in the elimination challenge. Cinco and Aza ,ultimately, couldn’t come up with a team to suggest. So, Tyson and Cashay said they were considering everybody.
Meanwhile, Sarah was going around and complaining about how Leo didn’t carry his weight during the comp. Cashay told the private cams, “I wouldn’t want to keep Leo around because I’ve heard that he’s not a good partner to have.” Cayla told Tyson that his name has been thrown around by Ben. She thought that gained some trust with Tyson.
At the elimination challenge, Tyson and Cashay ended up picking Leo and Sarah to go up against Cinco and Aza. It was revealed that Cashay convinced Tyson to go for Leo and Sarah because no one wants to be partnered with Leo. Tyson told the private cams, “Sarah kinda sank her own ship by spooking all the girls about how bad a partner Leo is.”
The elimination challenge was titled, “A Dark Turn.” In it, the teams had to go inside a dark building and memorize sizes of film reels. Then, come back out and stack them the same way they were inside for the win. When it was all played and done, it was Leo and Sarah who emerged as the winners! Sarah immediately started making mean gestures at Tyson for picking them. She also said she’s coming for him.
Poor Cinco and Aza were, of course, eliminated and sent packing. Cashay told the private cams, “Me and Cinco’s love story is over, but a part of me still loves him.” Sarah told the private cams of Tyson, “You want to go to war with me, not against. I promise you that.” She’s definitely looking to get some payback on Tyson. How do you guys feel about tonight’s results? Let us know in the comments section.
