James Avery Of Fresh Prince Show sadly died yesterday from heart issues,new details. According to a new report from CNN, former “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” star, James Avery, sadly passed away yesterday, December 31st at the age of 68 due to some complications with an open-heart surgery.
James had surgery on November 11th, and died on December 31st at a hospital in Glendale, California, according to James’ manager ,Toni Benson. Alfonso Ribeiro, who played James’ son on Fresh Prince, tweeted, “I’m deeply saddened to say that James Avery has passed away. He was a second father to me. I will miss him greatly.”
Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith took to their Facebook page to write: “Our condolences to aunt Florence (his mother), Miss Barbara (his wife) and all those who loved him.” James appeared in multiple TV shows and movies, including: “CSI,” “That ’70s Show,” “The Closer” and several appearances as a judge on “L.A. Law.”
