Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch AKA MCA Sadly Died Yesterday From Cancer
Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch aka MCA sadly died yesterday from cancer. According to a new report from TMZ, Former Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch,kicked the bucket the yesterday after battling with cancer for three years.
His publicist released a statement yesterday afternoon,stating, “It is with great sadness that we confirm that musician,rapper,activist,and director Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch,passed away in his native New York City this morning after a near-three-year battle with cancer. He was 47 years old.”
Adam’s rapper name was MCA. He was battling a cancerous parotid gland and a lymph node,and underwent surgery and radiation therapy. He co-founded Beastie Boys in 1979 with Mike D, and Ad Rock. Then went on to put out some mega hits. The most memorable for me,was Brass Monkey. We grew up on that.
