New The Wolverine 2 sequel movie definitely a possibility,the Director is on board. Recently, Screenrant, chatted it up with “The Wolverine” director, James Mangold, about the possibility of a sequel to the recently released Wolverine flick,and he said, “never say never.” The producer, Hutch Parker, also said, there’s room for more movies. In fact, they made the new Wolverine film with the purpose of creating a film that would demand a worthy follow-up.
They say, Mangold also answered this question for Yahoo! Movies, and it turns out that he is totally on board to do another film, stating, “If it presented me with the opportunity as this one did then yes. What I mean is the location and the world in Japan really presented me with a unique set of freedoms. Certainly any project with Hugh is enticing, but if someone came to me, or I came up with a strategy that stays as inventive and as exciting, I wouldn’t hesitate to do another one.”
The bottom-line is that it will come down to how much money this flick rakes in for 20th Century FOX. The last report I read is that it had grossed $21 million dollars for Friday,July 26th,which was weaker than expected,so we’ll just have to wait and see how the rest of this weekend plays out.
