New Kingdom Hearts 3 Very Important File Size, Virtual Reality And More Info Revealed

Hey, “Kingdom Hearts” fans. We hope all of you had a great Christmas holiday. In this latest update article, we’ve got some very interesting intel in regards to how much freaking space you’re going to have to free up on your hard drive to play the new Kingdom Hearts 3 game when it finally arrives at the end of January 2019.

According to the folks over at Gamerant.com, the actual file size for Kingdom Hearts 3 has been revealed via some box art for the Japanese iteration. It turns out that a need for at least 40 GB of hard drive space will be needed for this highly anticipated role playing video game!

Gamerant.com pointed out that the 40 GB file size is just for the game’s physical disc to be installed on the Sony Playstation 4 systems. However, it’s speculated that even more space may definitely be needed for the game’s Day one patch which includes its epilogue and secret movie. So, you guys will surely want to set aside some additional space for all that good stuff.

According to the folks over at Forbes.com, the size for Kingdom Hearts 3 on Microsoft’s Xbox One units will be slightly smaller at around 38.5 GB. They pointed out that the Playstation 4 will feature some pro enhancements which are likely the cause for its slightly larger file size requirement.

They went on to reveal that Kingdom Hearts 3 will reportedly feature at least a whopping 80 hours of game play and cut scenes. Basically, that means this game will keep you guys quite busy possibly until the end of time itself.

Forbes.com also reported that Kingdom Hearts 3 will have a VR aka Virtual Reality add-on. It’s being aptly called, “Kingdom Hearts: VR.” According to the folks over at Comickbook.com, Square Enix made the VR announcement and revealed that the VR experience is scheduled to release on January 18, 2019 for the PlayStation VR.

However, they’re saying that the VR experience isn’t as great as it sounds because it will actually just be a music video of sorts, and it’s not going to feature Goofy in it. The VR music video will feature two parts with the first one releasing on January 18, 2019. The second part will arrive later on during the spring of 2019. It’s reported that the Kingdom Hearts 3VR music video will actually give fans a look back at the history of the video game series.

Comickbook.com said the VR experience looks pretty strange, and that it’s almost like an acid-trip in certain moments. They feel like it’ll mostly be for real hardcore fans of the game.

They pointed out that a snippet from Kingdom Hearts 3’s official description reads like this, “King Mickey and Riku seek out Keyblade veterans from the past, while Sora, Donald, and Goofy begin a new odyssey across Disney worlds to claim the ‘power of waking.”

As previously reported, Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to feature at least 15 worlds that we know of. There’s definitely some other worlds that were featured in the game’s trailer which cannot be identified at this time. All those worlds should definitely give you guys plenty of things to explore. There’s no doubt about that.
