The Amazing Race September 28, 2022 Eliminated Rex Ryan & Tim Mann (Recap)
Hey, “The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, September 28, 2022, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 34 did indeed air, and we saw another team get sent packing at the very end of it.
Tonight’s episode kicked off with the teams learning they had to drive to Innsbrook Austria and go to Brund Nalder Huff to get their first clue. Quinton and Mattie got lost at the start of this leg while still over in Germany. They went looking for the Brund Nalder Huff location while still in Germany. When they finally got directions from someone, they learned that they needed to drive to Austria.
Once the teams found the Brund Nalder Huff location, they were given a Roadblock challenge titled, “Calling The Cows.” In it, they had to sing three different yodels and use certain hand motions to get their next clue.
Derek and Claire ran into issues with the “Calling The Cows” Roadblock and watched lots of teams passed them by, but they did finally complete it, and they got swiftly through the remaining challenges.
After successfully completing the “Calling The Cows” Roadblock challenge, the teams had to drive to MarktPlatz to get their next clue. Once they got there, they hit their detours for this leg of the race, which were titled, “Bells Ringin” or “Partner Swingin.” They got to pick which one they wanted to do.
In the “Bells Ringin” detour, they had to play bells to a traditional folk song to get their next clue. In the “Partner Swingin” detour, they had to learn and perform certain dances to get their next clue. After the teams successfully completed their detours, they had to hit up the Hofburg Imperial Palace, which was the pit stop for this leg of the race.
Marcus & Michael arrived at the pit stop in first place and won Expedia reward points to Lima Peru for 5 days and 5 nights. Glenda & Lumumba took 2nd place. Linton & Sharik claimed 3rd place. Derek & Claire arrived in 4th place. Luis & Michelle took the 5th spot. Abby & Will came in 6th place. Emily & Molly took 7th place.
Rich & Dom came in 8th, but they didn’t have their required hat so they had to go back and get it. While doing so, Aubrey & David took Rich & Dom’s 8 spot. Rich & Dom made it back in time to claim the 9th spot. Quinton & Mattie were able to get the very important 10th place to remain safe. Meanwhile, poor Tim & Rex showed up last, and were indeed eliminated since there are no non-elimination legs this season.
