New ‘A Good Day To Die Hard’ Movie Delivered Hardcore Action,Suspense & More

New ‘A Good Day To Die Hard’ movie delivered hardcore action, suspense & more. Twentieth Century Fox released their new action flick “A Good Day To Die Hard” into theaters this weekend . I just watched it,and thought it totally rocked, serving up a ton of hardcore action, drama, suspense, twists, and more. Bruce Willis did not disappoint,in my opinion, and totally turned it out. The movie stars: Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir, Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Anne Vyalitsyna.

In the new flick, character Viktor Chagarin (Sergei Kolesnikov) is a high-ranking ,but corrupt Russian official with plans on incriminating political prisoner and government whistleblower Yuri Komarov (Sebastian Koch) without a fair trial when Komarov refuses to hand over a secret file believed to have convicting evidence against Chagarin. In a separate incident, Jack McClane (Jai Courtney) gets arrested as a result of an assassination, but agrees to testify against Komarov for a shorter sentence.

Meanwhile, character John McClane (Bruce Willis), who has not been in touch with his son, Jack, in years, learns of Jack’s whereabouts and circumstances ,and decides to go to Russia to help him out. However, when John arrives and approaches the courthouse that is holding Jack and Komarov on trial, an explosion orchestrated by Chagarin and his henchmen, occurs, allowing Jack to break free with Komarov.

From there, John confronts Jack, but Jack definitely isn’t happy to see John, and basically tells him to get lost. However, John being as stubborn as he is,not only ignores his son’s request, but actually steals a truck so he can chase him down, along with some other evil Russian dudes, resulting in crazy, wild car chase scene that is just completely unforgettable.

Eventually, John finds out that Jack has been a CIA agent in an undercover operation for the past three years. Meanwhile, Collins (Cole Hauser), Jack’s partner, demands the file’s location from Komarov, so that the CIA can bring Chagarin down. However, Chagarin’s men eventually hunt down the location, causing Jack and John to have to bail ship with Komarov in tow.

From there, an unraveling of the plotline , reveals a huge twist that actually has Komarov as a very deceptive enemy, who sets up John and Jack to be killed. Fortunately, they escape that fate, which eventually leads to a huge conclusion that involved a ton fighting, shooting, and major explosions that just kept John and Jack in extreme danger the entire runtime. However, through it all, they were able to bond over a newfound relationship as they were pretty much estranged before all this action went down.

Again, I found the movie to be highly entertaining, jam-packed with action right from the jump. Bruce Willis brought some wicked intensity to the film, which was great to watch. I loved the car chase scene where Bruce’s character just drove over the top of almost every car in sight to help Jack. It was extremely crazy. I gave the movie a solid B+ grade.
