New Last Exorcism 2 movie delivered lots of thrills,drama,weird ending and plot. CBS Films released their horror/thriller flick “The Last Exorcism 2” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out and thought it was interesting, yet confusing at the same time. I totally didn’t get the ending of as it just seemed,well, silly. The movie stars: Ashley Bell.
In the new flick, demonic Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) is place in a special home for girls after getting caught up in some more crazy demonic shit in New Orleans that she barely has any memory of. Once at the girl’s home, Nell seems fine at first. She’s seen ,getting along nicely with the other girls,working a job,getting a boyfriend,going out for fun,and all those wonderful types of things.
But then,uh oh! Nell starts hearing and seeing weird things again. At one point, a very weird man,dressed as statue tells Neil, “You’ve been missed,” which totally freaks her out,and the demonic festivities started to creep back in from there. After that, more dramatic incidents occur that start to build and build,and build until we finally see Nell have a full on vision of her father ,or a man she calls father,trying to kill her. She thinks it’s real as it certainly seems real,but then,the whole scenario just disappears.
This,of course, alarms the head of the house,Frank, who just basically thinks she’s crazy and threatens to commit her if she keeps making these claims of death and destruction. There’s also scenes of Nell,appearing to have sex with an invisible entity/demon. Whatever it was,it was pretty steamy.
Eventually, Nell’s boyfriend kills himself in front of her after appearing to be possessed. From there, Nell storms out and eventually meets a woman,claiming she can help her. Then skipping ahead a few scenes, we realize that the woman actually can’t help her. In fact, she and her friends end up trying to kill her when the demon,entity,or whatever they tried to exorcise out of Nell ,becomes just too overwhelming for them to handle.
This sets up the big conclusion where Nell is taken over by the demon, and everyone and everything just goes straight to hell as this new,possessed Nell claims to know who she is now,and then just starts setting everything on fire with her mind. So, what I gathered is that Nell got possessed by a fire starter demon or something,lol!! Just kidding. Whatever it was, it really liked setting everything on fire.
Again, I thought this movie served up a lot of thrilling moments that were only matched by its odd and confusing moments as things kept appearing and disappearing,driving Nell crazy ,and so on and so forth. I think she may have had sex with an invisible demon,but they never really addressed it.
